She sighs before answering. “Unfortunately for our dear friend, he was more than just baiting women and drugging them to have sex with him.” 


“What do you mean?” A frown etched on my face. 


“Valdez has been involved in human trafficking.” 


“It’s not a surprise really. It was already a dead giveaway when he managed to own one of the strongest aphrodisiac drugs that almost knocked me out. I had him investigated out of suspicion but it turns out I was right.” 


I was shocked at the amount of information she was telling me. I shouldn’t be surprised anymore since a mafia leader managed to contact me for my hacking skills- not to mention the woman before me was one of the most powerful leaders. 


“What did you do to him then?” I asked, worried. I’m not exactly sure who I was worried about. Cara is used to these kinds of things. She knows how to handle it. But what if the law here interrupts and it’ll soon bite her ass.
