The competition

Stella woke up and got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast, the breakfast hall was massive and a lot of Princesses were gathered there. Stella looked for Princess Rose and saw her sitting on the right with some other princesses, Stella went and sat with them. The Emperor came in with other people and everyone got up and bowed, the Emperor told them that they will be participating in series of rounds in other to know who will become the mistress. The first competition is archery, everyone finish and meet me in the archery ground, luckily for Stella she had learned archery and was very good at it. The princesses went to the archery ground, Rose and Wendy were participating in the first round, Wendy shot her first arrow and it landed at the fourth circle, Rose arrow landed at the second circle and Wendy arrow landed at the bull's eye. The second round Stella and princess Myra were participating, Myra's arrow landed in the second circle and Stella's arrow landed stright at the bull's eye no mistake and Myra was out so it was Stella won. When the competition was over only ten princesses were selected out of fifty, the Emperor stood up and clapped for them he walked over to Stella and,whispered in her ear, " well done" and he went, Stella's face was as red as a tomato. Stella went to her room dumbfounded thinking, why did the Emperor whisper in her ear when he could say it out loud just then her maids Ella and Bella came in with a cup of hot chocolate and gave it to Stella, they said"it must have been tiring doing archery" and they went to set her bath water. When the bath water was ready Stella removed her cloth and went to the bathroom, Stella got dirty a lot so when she entered the water the dirt was peeling off her skin when she was finished she tied a towel around her body and went out.

Stella was almost done wering her dress when the Emperor guards came in and told her that she has to come with them, Stella agreed and finished wering her dress ,combing her hair and went with the guards. They guards made her neel in the Emperor's presence and the Emperor took her by the chin saying you really have confidance and told the guards to leave, after they left the King looked at her and said if you become the chosen one will you agree to become my mistress becase there are only three more competitions left. Stella said reluctantly ofcourse i will agree that is why i came here, the Emperor was statisfyed with her answer and let her go, Stella kept thinking why he would call for her to ask her that silly question or maybe he likes me. No he could'ent maybe he was just curious.
