Meeting Carrol Again

Stacey had already texted Carrol that Roland wanted to meet with her. Carrol agreed without hesitation as she also had something to say to Roland as well.

Ever since the incident that day, Carrol had distanced herself from Stacey as Roland and his bodyguards were more than enough to guarantee her safety. Of course, she would still be around the area to prevent some minor accidents from happening. It was just she was now guarding Stacey in a passive state, unlike before.

Now, Roland and his bodyguards could have easily contacted her if they wanted to. However, contacting her through legitimate means and through an investigator's means were two different things.

After they alighted the car, Stacey went ahead and led them to a bench. She then took her phone to text Carrol that they were here.

This area was not that far from the mall. They were now in a children's park, and because it was already night, it was already deserted, but the place was still well-lit.
