Thanks to Scarlett's team for finding the source, the waves of Zergs stopped coming after killing it.

The source they mentioned was the perpetrator who opened the rift, the Zerg Elder. Once a Zerg releases a massive amount of negative energy, it causes a crack in space. Though note that only Zerg Elder and above rank could release that amount of negative energy to cause a dimensional crack.

By killing the source, the rift will close.

Scarlett reported that the source was a Level E Zerg Elder.

Level E was just the second lowest in terms of power. But although they were the second lowest in terms of power ranking, it didn't mean that they were weak.

As a matter of fact, Zerg Elder was difficult to kill.

Scarlett and her companions defeated it after a tough battle in the sky. The rift then closed after that and the wave of Zergs stopped coming.
