Conrad struggled to free himself from Joe's clutch, but Joe was hugging him tightly to avoid him from escaping.

"You damn nuts! That's not gonna happen!"

An elbow hit Joe's face. He almost lost consciousness. Conrad was too strong even for him, and Joe could tell that. Even so, Joe's arms remained constricted to Conrad's body.
