Panic

Alex had a long day at Portal and was looking forward to spending some quality time with his girlfriend Pearl. As he made his way to her house, he couldn't help but feel a sense of calmness wash over him. Pearl always had a way of making him feel at home, no matter where he was.

When Alex arrived, Pearl was already in the kitchen cooking up a storm. The smell of her homemade lasagna filled the house, and Alex's stomach rumbled in response. As he made his way over to her, she turned around with a smile on her face.

"Hey, you're just in time. I was hoping you'd be hungry," Pearl said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Always hungry when it comes to your cooking," Alex replied with a grin.

As they sat down to eat, they talked about their day. Pearl told him about some new projects she was working on for LocalRange, and Alex filled her in on the latest developments at Portal. They laughed and joked over dinner, enjoying each other's company.
