As we got down to Jiwoo's basement, I surveyed the area again didn't say anything. After all, I have been frequently visiting down here to train the cats.I plopped down on an old sofa and melted at the moment of contact, while kayden sneered at me with contempt. I didn't mind though, it was a normal occurence.As people said, simillars' repel each other's advances.Merely shaking my head, I turned my head towards Jiwoo who sat down in lotus position and patiently waited for Kayden to say something."He's such an innocent and obedient kitten." I spoke, chuckling as Jiwoo tilted his head sideways at my comment in confusion.Kayden got on top of the sofa and finally looked around properly for all this time. As if sensing my thoughts, his head whipped towards my direction."....What?" I am innocent here, I have done nothing wrong but this man is acusing me of something I didn't even know about.His eyebrows furrowed. "Would I even be concerned with your futile activities you call 'exercise' that you engage with others in this room?"Another spiritual arrow pierced my chest. 'This little bitch...' I merely frowned and stopped myself from saying anything.'I'll make sure you'll suffer under the crushing weight of my army in the future!!' "Mmm...." He nodded in aggreement.Following the flow, he circulated his force in the specific pattern. The once dim light became brighter and brighter, until I had to look away from the sheer shiny produced by the two.Light engulfed the room as, "UghK..." I grunted and eventually covered my eyes, grass-darn-it. I had sensitive eyes for grass's sake you idiots!Being in human form was a handicapped due to my Ultra-low endurnce not making my eyes resistant to light as much as the sensitivity amplification."I have to grind for those SP once again..... the grind is eternal." I muttered with squinted eyes as I stood from the sofa and turned around.And as if to further more insult me, it brightened even more... my legs felt like paper as I collapsed on the corner of the room, sulking. I can't even turn around anymore, neither could I have left....After a few minutes, kayden stopped supplying his force to Jiwoo and let go, wiping the imaginary sweat from his face. "Whew~" The blinding light faded.Looking at Jiwoo's optimistic and excited face, he sighed. "Keep this up and you'll be able to...." Until he saw Jiwoo perform the circulation technique all on his own."Hahahahah!" I barked out laughter as I looked at Kayden's horrified face. "Huh?!" Jiwoo, innocently smiling at his achievement, circulated force at near perfect efficiency.Yeah.... this boy is a genius. What more do I have to say with his brilliant force control, cause not only was he able to copy Kayden's technique 97.6% in one try, the same was for a later force technique taught by the kind granpa at the academy.A manic smile bloomed on my face as I looked at Jiwoo's insane talent for force control... 'Oho, I am so gonna ruin the power scalling by teaching him how to weaponize force.'I slowly approached the two in Jojo style and stopped just as I was in front of them. "Hey kid, I think you're good enough, want me to teach you how to weaponize it?"A mischieveous smile bloomed as I heard his agreement: "Yes!! Please teach me!!" Jiwoo heartily smiled, 'What a wholesome ball of sushine.'Chuckling, I ruffled his hair with a pat. "Haha... alright, alright kid. I'll teach you to become the best, just after me. Now, stand up."My smile faded as I commanded him to rise. "First things first, I am going to brief you on an important thing. "Exactly, to make something out of nothing, you need to visualize it.""The very basics of force manifestation is to form a solid model of what you want to come into being." I uttered and deftly conjured a spear of lightning in my hand, firmly grasping its shaft as it fully materialized in milliseconds' time.It was a sight to behold, hypnotizingly so. Electricity is a form of an electromagnetic wave, and so is light. This similarity made it easier to fuse the two's properties.Using harmony, I synchronized the two elements. The tip of the thing was entirely red, that being of purely the destructive lightning element, and the shaft was wafting off white sparks.Spinning it around, I got it to proper hold and swipped downwards, releasing small arcs of electricity... starting a fire.I lifted my chin up and closed my eyes. "How is it? Cool right....?" I asked Jiwoo, before realizing something was wrong.... I sniffed the air: fire?I abruptly opened my eyes and looked down, a small fire near my feet. I gawked and turned my head towards Jiwoo's admiring face, and Kayden holding back laughter.Deftly sliding my foot to the fire, I put it out in an instant and de-conjured the spear. Backing away, I returned to my little corner and crouched.Contemplating life decisions."GA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA—" Kayden's thunderous laughter resounded in the room as Jiwoo was looking back and forth between me and Kayden, asking:"Did you see that?!!"With clear admiration and surprise in his face. Silently muttering "...I want to do that too!" "Can I do that too?!" "That's so awesome!!"'I can't take this anymore..!!' Vera straightened her back and faced me properly. "Anyways, imagination is a very crucial part in force materialization." She fake-coughed."First, start with closing your eyes Jiwoo." I followed and closed my eyes. "Extend your arm forward, and start circulating force inside your body."I did so, and after a few moments of silence, she spoke. "What comes into thought with the word lightning spear?" She asked with a monotonous voice.Her spear, that destructive weapon, entered my mind, I thought about it, consolidating it's shape in my mind. "Lightning, taking the form of a spear." I answered."Good," Her voice resonated in my ears. "Now, imagine what electricity is? A "force", right? Forces are usually categorized as something not seen, but felt.""But lightning is a far more powerful force, a culmination of force made forcefully manifest before your eyes, compressed until it consolidates into an ultimate, seen force."I heard her walking to wards my backside and put her hand on my spine. Circulating a considerable amount of force in my body."Urghk..." I grunted from the jolt of sudden shock, travelling through my body, but ultimately returned to gather on my outstretched hand.As it neared my palm, it dispersed. And I heard a crackle of electricity. "Still remember the flow?" She asked, to which I nodded in response. "Excellent.""Now, circulate force in a similar manner as I did." Following the patterns she went through, my energy travelled all throughout my body and returned to gather in my arm.I heard a crackling sound at my palm. "Hmmm~" She hummed in amusement. "Now, in a similar fashion, force is something that can be felt, but not seen. Until..."The gears clinked all around my head as I gathered my thoughts for an answer, "Until a great amount of force is compressed and expelled from the body." I responded."Exactly, judging from the amount you produced while practicing with kayden from earlier, I do not doubt you can do the same."Ms. Vera left my back and walked in front of me again. "Start, by compressing the flooding force entering your arm into a single, surging river..."I imagined it, visualzing the flow to minimize, to gather into a single point onwards. Electricity started to radiate from my palm again."Back tracking..." She spoke. "What is a lightning spear again?" her words echoed in my brain as a reminder. 'Lightning taking the form of a spear.'Force surged outwards as I slowly opened my eyes, what followed next was my thoughts made manifest. Lightning pouring out, slowly, but surely straightening.The air warmed as a crude spear of lightning levitated from the palm of my hand. Firmly grasping the handle, a loud snap of thunder resounded.Although it was crude, very, far from ms. Vera's manifestation, it was still a genuine spear made out of lightning. My eyes darted from my creation, towards my mentor, back and forth.Seeing her smile proudly and put her hands on hips and puffing her chest out, I felt that she was proud of my achievement and so I smiled in excitement."Ms. Vera! I did it!!" I exclaimed, losing focus. But that brief moment of relaxation exploded, literally, as sparks flew away at mere nothing....I sulked... I finally did it, but I couldn't maintain it for that long. I felt Ms. Vera's hand on my head as she once again ruffled my hair.I looked up and saw her smile brightly at me. "That's alright kid; what you did was good enough for me, there'd be plenty of opportunity in the future."'Hehe.... at least I got her to smile because she's proud of me.' I beamed a equally bright smile at her. "Thank you Ms. Vera!!"
