Romance

The abrupt halt of the carriage forced Ardis to open her sleepy eyes as she stared at Hell who was closing his eyes . Her eyes bulged out of their sockets when she realized how compromising their position was .....

She watched as their chest fell and rose together as she carefully lifted herself thinking he might be asleep.. She nearly drooled admiring his breathtaking beauty ....

His broad shoulders and back that looked like it could shelter her from harm ... And his veiny yet strong calloused hands that resembled that of a legendary warrior, and his ethereal facial features that made her heart flutter everytime.

She had this strong urge to touch his face and after confirming several times that he might be sleeping .. She tangled his black hair in between her slender fingers going in for the roots .. She gasped at how smooth and silky it was when from afar it appeared to be thick ...

She further continued to his long lashes that made him look some how feminine , She then further went to his sharp narrow nose feeling it's smoothness against her fingers . All this while carefully making sure not to wake him up... And then she went along to trace his sharp yet sleek jawline until she landed on his small lips, a smile unknowingly making it's way to her face ....

Suddenly , she gasped when she felt something warm wrap around her fingers causing her to doubt if he was asleep all this time ... With great frantic effort she tried to remove her fingers but up to no avail... She stared intensely as she watched his eyelashes flutter before they revealed his enthralling silver eyes that was boring into her

"Were you too eager for romance " Hell said seductively sucking her fingers more harder as he refused to break eye contact

Ardis bit her inner lips to stop herself from moaning as she rebuked herself internally ...

'Ardis don't fall for his trap ' Her mind kept telling her but it seemed her heart was saying otherwise .....

Suddenly he removed her fingers from his mouth and just before Ardis could display a frown he began blowing hot breath on it causing Ardis to close her eyes in pleasure ....

After a long battle between her heart and mind, Her mind won and immediately she retracted her finger staring at him with a scornful look only to see him curve his lip into a devious smirk

" You weren't asleep " Ardis said pursing her lips

" Don't purse your lips like that, it's like you are inviting me in for a kiss " Hell said huskily before grabbing her tiny fingers stunning Ardis in the process

Ardis stared at the man she had gotten married to. As if his ethereal attributes we're not enough he had to possess an enthralling and seductive behavior too ...

" You are a freak " Ardis said Only to see his face expression change and his aura more spine breaking than ever causing Ardis to regret what she had just said ....

" Get up " Ardis heard Hell's cold voice that was very much devoid from any humanly emotion

Biting her lips and tightening her fists she got up from his legs , her heart beating a thousand times per second ... She had just realized that he was always hot and cold .. One moment he is a little bit approachable and another moment he was very frightening like a fire that won't hesitate to burn if one got too close to it ... She wondered how he always managed to pull of the stunt of changing his emotions and facial expression in the blink of an eye

" Don't talk to anyone until I ask you to" Ardis heard his stern voice before he got down from the carriage with Ardis following his pursuit

Ardis could immediately feel goosebumps surrounding her skin as she marvelled at how cold it was in here ... If that gothic palace was winter then this place would definitely be the Artic _ Ardis thought

She stood behind Hell's broad back that completely hid her frame as she held her arms together , her teeth chattering ...

Suddenly she was surprised to see his back turn and his chest facing her only to notice that he wore his coat on her body , She shuddered as she felt little warmth embrace her being but she suddenly became alert when she noticed that she was being watched

Peeping from his chest she was shocked to see five pale men staring at her with a bit of surprise written on their face ....

"Take her to the quarters " Ardis heard Hell's voice and she couldn't help but pity the person he had spoken to , Even though he had spoken to her harshly before it wasn't up to this point where his voice alone could send a group of warriors scampering for their lives

Ardis watched as one of the men walked towards her , Her heart racing in anticipation

He had chestnut brown hair and light brown eyes ... His skin was pale as ever and Ardis also noticed that he exhibited this type of aura that was enough to keep people at bay but unfortunately his aura was nothing compared to Hell's ....

She watched as he stepped beside her , signalling for her to come with and she did

struggling to keep up with his strides.... She halted a little and stared back at Hell whose face showed nothing but the bloody intent to kill before she continued to walk as fast as she could so as to meet up with the man in front of her with her mind entertaining her with worrying and absurd thoughts
