What's so special about this girl?

- My Pov -

Because as my mother pointed out, I hadn't been to her laboratory in a very long time, so I could only smile and get a bit excited to find out the results of the experiments that she had been conducting for a while now.

Thanks to my mother, the white door that appeared heavy then opened wide, and I walked in without it being necessary for me to identify myself.

Inside The hallway, I was immediately greeted by a dark and gloomy atmosphere. Even the dim lighting contributed to creating this uncomfortable atmosphere.

But that wasn't all. I also noticed several tubes lined up on both sides of this passageway. The interior of these tubes was illuminated, so I could see the inside of them, which caused me to raise my eyebrows in surprise.

"Considering the experiments my mother did, it's no wonder she did something like this," I muttered something under my breath as I continued to observe a large human embryo that was contained within this tube.

I felt as though I were in a biology class where I was observing the development of the fetus from month to month as I continued to walk down this dark corridor and watch the embryos contained within each tube grow.

"Did my mother try to create monsters?" I am aware that the experiment with this embryo is not a typical one because, considering that my mother is also a little bit crazy when it comes to her experiments, the likelihood of her producing a new monster or strange creature is high.

"What are you doing, Kaiser? Standing there silently, I want to show you something. Hurry up," My mother's voice echoed in this corridor through the small speaker on the wall. I could only smile wryly and continue making my way toward the end of the corridor.

At the end of the corridor, I met the door again, but this time, it immediately opened, and my mother was standing with a soft smile on the other side.

After that, my mother approached me, gave me a long hug, and said, "Looks like you were out early in the morning without my knowledge again, huh, Kaiser?"

"What is the thing you want to show me, mother?" I decided to change the subject of the conversation, and my mother could only shake her head and not continue her inquiry.

"Come," My mother then took my hand and led me somewhere. Around me, I found a variety of different types of experimental equipment with lots of papers scattered on the table.

I also saw several tubes that were the same as those outside the corridor. The difference, however, was that the embryos in these tubes appeared to be perfect, and I was a little surprised to discover that this creature did not resemble a human because I could see that some of its limbs looked different.

However, I wasn't particularly interested in it, so I only gave it a cursory glance before examining my mother's other experimental results.

"Time flies so fast, doesn't it Kaiser?"

"Is that so?" I was surprised by the question that my mother posed, but as I had an idea of where we were going with this conversation, I didn't pay too much attention to what she said.

My mother laughed as she turned to look at me and said, "You used to play around here a lot while keeping me company all day," but then her expression became a little sad as she continued, "but looking at you now, you spend less time with me."

Seeing me, who was silent while showing a small grin, my mother could only take a deep breath and continue to lead me somewhere while occasionally telling me about the past, which I myself didn't really care about.

'Don't worry, mother, I will spend more time with your body in the future,' I thought.

Soon enough, the two of us will stand in front of a cell entirely made of glass, but I am aware that this glass is exceptionally thick and difficult to break through.

"Is the thing you want to show me this girl, mother?" I was surprised when I saw a little white-haired girl playing with dolls in this glass cell.

"Yeah, and what do you think, Kaiser?" I could see the proud look on my mother's face as she tried to get my opinion on something, but all I could do was give a wry smile and ask, "What's so special about this girl?"

During my conversation with my mother, my attention was diverted when the white-haired girl in the glass cell suddenly looked at me and how shocked I was when I saw her red eyes, which were also the same as mine.

When this girl looked at me, her eyes were completely expressionless. However, I could sense her curiosity. But then my mother, who was beside me, explained.

"I created this girl using your gene and a mixture of other genes I have developed so far from various living things as a result of my experiments."

This time, I didn't know what to say because I didn't expect my mother to even do an experiment using my gene to create this girl who almost looked like me.

I don't know how long and how many times my mother has conducted experiments with living things or humans as well, thus creating this strange girl.

"You haven't answered my question, mother. What's so special about this girl?" I could see my mother look at me with a surprised face, but after that, she seemed to heave a sigh of relief.

"fyuhhh... thank goodness you weren't angry. At first, I was afraid that you would hate me after I secretly experimented with your gene, Kaiser."

To tell you the truth, I won't mind what my mom is doing as long as it doesn't interfere with my current comfortable life. She's already doing a good job, so how can I complain...

"look at how cute this girl is. I'm curious and can't wait to find out what surprise she will give me."
