Thirty

"It worked," Julia said, gasping in relief as she checked the vitals of the patient and everything was stable. She turned swiftly to the person behind her who happened to work in the clinic.

"Get everyone settled while we make enough for everyone." Then she looked at me pointing to my face with a small smile at the corner of her lips. A new rush of determination burned in her eyes.

"You are going to tell me what and what that moisture is made off. Leave no detail behind." She said all at once I nodded attentively to her words. then she added.

"And next time do well to consult me before you make any rash decisions," she said sternly before going elsewhere in a haste. I watched her from a distance while she reassured everyone they had found a way to ail the symptoms.

My arms wrapped myself tightly. The lumpy feeling in my throat makes it hard to swallow. Maybe I had done the right thing. I just hope it isn't what I think it is unless this would be all for not.
