Chapter 10: Breaking up with Jaime

"Sir, she's lying, she's trying to fool all of us, she's trying to make us think—"

"Alright miss Pam, that's enough" Principal Anderson wasn't interested in listening to her speak.

"Even though I Know the truth of the whole matter, I still let both side speak and the truth of the matter is that Alexandra Carson, was in the room the whole night" he added.

Everyone stared at themselves, even Jaime stared at me.

"I had personally sent Alexandra up to her room yesterday because she was sick and would have asked her how she's feeling this morning if I wasn't engrossed in making sure everything goes smoothly, in fact miss Sarah made it a point to check on her every two hours through out the night until her fever broke around 5 o'clock this morning" he said.

"And as for Jaime I had sent up to his room as punishment for bad behavior, and maybe not seeing Alexandra at dinner yesterday must have made Pamela think of whatever she just told us, I'll like to tell all of you that her words her merely hallucinations of hers, nothing more"

"For wasting our time and telling us woven lies about your roommate, you should get punished for that, but I won't punish you because this is your first mistake but trust me you'll get punished the next time you pull a prank like this on us" Principal Anderson decided

"And that goes for the rest of you, if anyone tries something like this again, I won't go so easy on them, thank you everyone, Jaime Burns please come with me" He added, ending his speech.

The students moved away, throwing mean glares at Pam and favouring me with pitiful looks,

I know what must be going through their heads, they must be pitying me for having such a disgusting person as a roommate.

'You did pull this one perfectly' Lexie said.

'Hey girl, where have you been?, I missed you like hell, why do you keep ghosting me?' I frowned slightly, my wolf is as weird as I am, I mean what kind of wolf leaves their partner to do whatever they want?

'I'm sorry Andra, I feel bored, can't we go for a run or something?' she replied.

'You're calling me Andra now?, and there's no way we can go running here but maybe when we leave for camp later today' I shrugged, I don't think there's any chance of that but well you never can say.

'I do that all the time, Alexandra is way too long, and I'm glad your boyfriend think the same way and your mom too, it's the same reason she calls you Andra too isn't it?' I could feel her smirking in my head.

'I think my name is super cool and mom calls me Andra because she finds it cute, and as for Jaime you know he's crazy' I rolled my eyes.

'Talk of the devil and he'll show his ugly face, look there, your Jaime is heading this way'

'How do you know the devil's ugly, have you even seen him before?' I asked, walking in opposite direction from Jaime, I hate the way his penetrating gaze probbed my face

'I literally meant your boyfriend, he's super ugly can't you see that?'

'If you mean super cute, I don't mind' I smirked, Lexie has never liked Jaime, she dislikes him for some reason she wouldn't even tell me.

'Cute my ass' I could feel her roll her eyes.

'If you find him cute, sweet, funny and interesting like you said he is, then why are you walking away from him?' Lexie snickered

"Hi there" Jaime caught my hand

"What are you doing?, there's a scandal going on about us already" I flaunted my hair,

"That's exactly what I want to ask you about" He gave me a tight smile.

"Like you have anything else to ask me" I muttered.

"Tell me how you convinced Principal Anderson to speak in your favor" he gave me a pointed look.

"Speak in my favor?, hello, he wasn't speaking in my favor, though I had to twist things a little, the fact still remains, nothing happened between us last night and it was wrong of Pam to say those things" I whispered hoarsely,

"Exactly, what do you mean by twist things a little?, I wanna know what you did to our principal" he whispered back

"I only did something to save my family of embarrassment, how would I have explained the situation to mom and Dad?, they might agree that staying away from another Pack's Alpha and staying out of trouble is fine but staying in a room with you?, you know, now that I think of it, I think I did the wrong thing, I should have simply explained everything to that Alpha and let him know we mean no trouble and we're only here on a school trip" I tried to get him to leave my hand but he tightened his hold.

"And what do you think would have happened?, that he'll simply let you walk away?, whether you believe me or not, we did the right thing, what I want to know is how—"

"I'm tired of hearing this line already!, I know what I did was wrong and going into Principal Anderson's head and creating things that didn't actually happen is wrong, but I did it not to save myself but to save my family from this mess!" I pried my hand loose from his grip but he just grabbed my shoulders and held me tightly.

"What!, you did what?"

"What's wrong with you?, why are you acting like you don't know anything?, you sound disgusting right now, why do you keep lying to me?, you know what, I think you have the powers to do it, and you could've done it if you wanted to, but the truth is you wanted this to happen, you wanted me to be disgraced in front of everyone, this has been your motive all along and I know you're still angry because I slapped you the first time we met and you only got into a relationship with me to make me pay for that, in fact I think you planned all this!" I was furious.

"What are you even saying?, I don't have any such powers, I can't get into people's heads and on the contrary, I think you're the disgusting one and yes I've dropped the thought of making you pay for that slap, what you're saying doesn't make sense, I didn't tell Pam about us being in the same room, you did, I didn't lie to you, in fact you lied to me—"

"You really think I lied to you?" I was really mad at him now.

"Yes, if you could get into people's heads and make them dance to your music, if you could do that, then you're so evil, I don't wanna be with someone like you, you're a cursed evil warlock and not a wolf like I thought and you've only misled me—"

"Come again, what the heck?, you think I get in people's heads because I find it funny and I want to do it?, you think I'm evil?, you don't wanna be with a girl like me?, that I'm cursed?, then I don't wanna be with a person like you either, you can take your baggage and go dine with the devil because I'm calling this relationship off right now"

"Get your hands off me!" I whispered furiously.

"Well I don't wanna touch you either and I'm glad this charade of a thing is over" he let go and walked away,

Good thing he was out of my sight quickly, because I wanted to really hit him,

I glanced around quickly and luckily no one seem to be interested in our conversation and everyone was minding their business and even the wolves in the building seem to have no time for us,

It renewed my theory, if they're so uninterested in us, it only means Jaime lied to me about the whole thing and I was so foolish that I bought his idea and did wrong things.

'You did the right thing you know, I'm glad you got rid of that fellow' Lexie sighed.

'I know right'

I was really mad at Alexandra, I broke the mirror in my room in anger, more than her , I feel anger towards myself, why did I believe a cheat like her?, she's disgusting really,

She gets into people's heads and do mean things to them?, you could've done better Jaime Burns, you could've done better,

now I better stay away from her and make sure I guard my thoughts and mind, who knows she could do mean things to me too, and more than that, I need to expose her, everyone need to see her for who she really is and I know exactly what I need to do.
