"Blood Moon," Geld said.

His funny and jolly mood turned serious when he said that.

"Blood Moon!?" I exclaimed.

I heard about that from Martha. But only partially. She too didn't know how anyone would be with that.

"It is power or ability one gets when one gets born with the blessing of 'Goddess of Red Moon' and helps them become a primordial entity with extraordinary understanding of nature and supernatural power but which we attained without any broad knowledge." Geld said.

"Look! I did say you take a long time to explain, didn't I?" Timothy spoke from behind teasing him.

"So what?!" Geld turned back furiously.

It looked like they didn't get along but their friendship mysteriously continued.

"Alene! You got bored, didn't you?" Geld asked.

"Umm… I don't think so." I stuttered.

"See! She didn't feel bored." Geld chuckled.

"But that's all that I already know." I said.

Martha did already tell me about that but there are new things which I just knew.

"But, some of what you said is also unknown to me."

"Like?" Timothy said.

"Like both of you will be born as my twins. And it is still hard to believe but I want you to explain it clearly." I said.

I was shocked and nervous to know ancestors whom all of the Fire Blood pack remembered all along will be born from me.

"You misunderstood something here!" Geld said.

"Not as your twin. We will bind to the souls of your twins and due to the blessing of the goddess, I will be born as a primordial Alpha with the power of 'Blood Moon'." He added.

"And the vampiric essence in your blood, with the blessing granted by 'Goddess of Red Moon', I will awaken as a Vampire Royal." Timothy said.

"Vampire Royal!?" I was shocked.

I thought the twins would be werewolf. But the birth of a vampire will shock the Fire Blood pack even more.

But yeah there was vampire blood in me. 'so, Timothy absorbed it.' I thought.

"Won't that create some problem in werewolf pack." I said.

"No. We will get born as hybrids too. If our souls and goddess's blessing was not intertwined, we would born independently as werewolves but the seal which bind us for all these years got invoked due to your wolf's and vampiric blood essence." Geld said.

"Synge!" I mumbled.

"He is a medium beast which works as a catalyst for joining with 'Goddess of Red Moon'." Timothy said.

"What is 'Goddess of Red Moon'? That everyone talks about. I know less about that." I asked.

Geld and Timothy looked at each other. Quiet moments followed for a while.

Geld sat on the ground. He sighed.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Don't you know that already?" He asked.

"No."

"How come you know about us and seals but not about 'Goddess of Red Moon'?" Timothy said in disbelief.

"Well! she is the mutual deity of both vampires and werewolf but.." He stopped saying a few words.

'She is the deity of both vampires and werewolf!'

I was shocked to hear those unconvincing words.

I thought werewolf and vampires were different and worshipped different deities. But to my surprise, it was the opposite. I did have some info about such things from books and telltale stories and different myths.

"How can that be?" I exclaimed.

"My reaction too was like that when Geld told me about it. And that is the very reason we are friends. But I got an annoying one." Timothy said.

"Yes. That is true. When there is a full moon on a special lunar day in winter every hundred years, 'Goddess of the Red Moon' changes to 'Goddess of Black Curse' and she blesses one of the humans with an immortal curse of black blood and turns them into blood seeking creatures. They feel the urge to drink blood and only prey on humans. It is odd that they prey on what they first were. But when they mated with different species like werewolf, less powerful mixed blood hybrids were born. Then these would give birth to lesser vampires when mated with normal vampires." Geld said.

"Wow! still long explanations. Don't you learn from me to talk short and sweet?" Timothy punned Geld.

I giggled and Geld looked at me. His gaze froze me.

"Alene! We too don't know what will happen when we get born. These powers too are unknown to us. But all these years we argued with every knowledge and information we had. And the conclusion is, a new era will emerge when we are born." Geld said.

"And what about me? Martha said I would die when I turn eighteen." I asked curious and worried.

"Well!" Timothy looked down.

Geld kept quiet.

'Am I going to die? wait!…if twins are going to be born, then I won't die, will I?' I thought.

"I won't die right?" I said.

"That! I will help you." Familiar and strong aura emerged from behind. Voice which I clearly know of.

"Synge" I mumbled.

I turned back. Tall and majestic werewolf with blue and lightening like sparks around its body. Eyes like sapphire, and deep and violent like abyss yet calm like still lake. It was looking directly into my eyes.

I froze in its majestic appearance which even faded the aura of Geld, one of the Golden Alpha like it was nothing.

"How come you bothered coming here?" Timothy broke silence.

'Don't he fear him? even Geld is frozen!' I thought.

"Alene! I will help you break free of the seal in your labor but you have to bear most of the pain." Synge said.

It's my first time seeing Synge in the form ahead in my eyes.

'It is my wolf. How amazing?' I was mesmerized.

"You are born of a Silk Moon pack she-wolf, Emerald. And it's your mother's gift that I am with you." Synge said.

'My mother!' I thought.

'I didn't even see her face. I lost her without having her proper love but Synge is my mother's gift. I think I am blessed to have such a mother.'

My face grimaced as I got lost in thoughts.

"Alene!" Synge called me.

"Yes!"

I snapped out of thoughts but was still feeling down.

"Your father Victor too loved you very much. But being hybrid you might have faced much troubles and hardships till now. That will end when I will fully awaken within you." Synge said.

"Can you tell me about what happened to my parents?" I asked with expectful eyes brimming with tears.
