Chapter 9

"Where are you coming from?" I asked as I approached him.

"That's not the problem here, why are you here alone" he got off the motorcycle.

I didn't say anything to that. After looking at me for a while, he grabbed my hair and said, "You are very scholarly" and took the hat he was wearing and put it on me. I was shocked because it was so close. While I was staring like stone

It seems that even today he wants to spend time with Emi. But why is he always trying to get close to me?

We went straight to Emi's house, as soon as the door opened, Cross came and held my hand. Emi looked at it with wide eyes.

I am alone here so I decided to go to Emi's house. Cross eats when I go there. So we both took dinner and sat in the living room.

I smiled at him and closed my eyes. he put something on my hand.It is a beautiful bracelet. He put it in my hand. And he has a maching chain.

He showed it by saying that we are like a couple.

I know what's on his mind but he's a good friend to me. I smiled, thinking he would figure it out someday.

After the two returned Emi's house.I decided to go to sleep because I was very tired. Cross was already asleep.

I came to my house. I entered the room in the dark and turned on the tabel lamp. Very sleepy but can't sleep without studying. So I started studying. After while I fell asleep on the table.

I woke up in the morning to the sound of Jake and Emi talking. I remember someone put me on the bed. The sun hasn't risen yet and it's dark everywhere.

I thought of getting up from the bed, but because of something Emi said, I decided to stay there.

After staying like that for another hour, I carefully removed Emi's hand and got up.

After doing my morning routine. I dressed up, at that time Emi was about to leave. She said goodbye saying that she will pick me up from college today.

I went to Emi's house and started looking for Cross. He is nowhere. I went to his bedroom.

He was still asleep, I tried to wake him up. His body is hot like fire.

"Get up Cross, your body is very hot." I tried to get him up.

He opened his eyes slowly and smiled at me. I got him out of bed and brought him something to eat.

"Let's go to get medicine" I brought him a pill.

He smiled, saying, "I'm fine now."

I finally managed to make him like to go with me.

After some time, after taking the medicine, we returned home.

I noticed a bite mark on his leg when I was trying take off his socks. It was just above the toes.

I looked carefully. It could be a cat bite. Because Emi's cat doesn't like Cross that much.I cleaned it well and put away the medicine.He made sure he got the Hydrophobia vaccine.

It is almost 9 in the morning. I'm late for college. I put Cross's medicine was near the bed and made him sleep and left for college.I should inform Emi about this.

I entered the lecture hall in the middle of the lecture. But before another 10 minutes passed, a person who came there called my name and told me to go to the head office.

When I got there, Jake's grandfather was there. When he saw me, he extended his hand and told me to come near him, smiling.

Mr. Kim and the principal were there. But Jake is nowhere to be seen.

I went to grandfather and stood. "Mr. Kim, as I said before, I am her guardian. I think my grandson and granddaughter can join the trip." He said while touching my head. I was surprised by what he said and looked at his face.

He smiled again.

"Sure Mr. Thomlsan, I will look into it," said Mr. Kim and left.

"There's nothing to worry about now. Your class has started, right? We'll meet after college," he said. I could not think of anything. I left there and came back to the lecture hall.
