“That city makes me learn everything. I felt the bitterness of life. It’s hard for me to believe that the city and the people in it can make me happy.”
Billy saw Catalina’s face was cloudy. Seemed she remembered something that she was trying to forget.
“I will show you many new things. If you will trust me and go with me.”
Catalina tried to overcome the doubts within her. She wasn’t able to give Billy an answer yet. But Billy wanted Catalina to come with him. He just had little time to make Catalina fall in love. Five hundred years had passed, which meant that there was little time left for Billy.
Billy also had to manage Howard’s business, which was headquartered in Georgia. He couldn’t always stay in Alaska. The look in Billy’s eyes forced Catalina to give an answer. She looked uncomfortable.
“Take me back home!” Catalina asked.
