“Catalina is no ordinary person. She is the reincarnation of a water creature. I’m looking for a lot of literature that can explain this. If I’m right, maybe Catalina is a mermaid.”
Billy was sitting in front of Max, trying to digest all the words of the middle-aged man regarded as the father. He tried to understand Max’s information about the phenomenon in Catalina that he had seen.
“It makes sense that Catalina was a mermaid. I saw a green light that appeared and covered both of her legs as they came into contact with the water. It always happens when Catalina’s feet come into contact with water,” Billy explained to Max.
“The thing is, a mermaid is never born of a human. You can find out where Catalina came from. I will learn all about the mermaid from the books we have.”
Max was again busy with some books that Luck had just given him. He was utterly unaware of Billy’s confused gaze directed at him. So many questions popped into Billy’s head.
