It has been a while now since I found Victory curled up on the floor and unconscious. I got the scare of my life when I checked for a pulse and got none. A week has passed now and she still has not gained consciousness. 


I wonder what happens to her that day. when I called the doctor, he said that she had suffered from intense shock. What could she have seen that causes her to slip into a store of shock and lose bee consciousness? Had the doctor not assured me that she is not in a coma, I would have been utterly devastated. 


Seeing her laying on the bed almost lifeless like this has made me feel utterly helpless. I feel incompetent and inadequate. Victory has been through a lot and it is high time she got some consolation. But fate seems to think otherwise. 


Why should someone face endless pain and anguish? What sin has she committed in her past life to deserve this? Why then is I have to meet her and be a beam of light yet remain helpless still?
