[SHAIRA's POINT OF VIEW]
We haven't cleared our misunderstanding and all he did was leave a note on the bedside table saying that he needs to attend an early board meeting. Today is Sunday, and we are supposed to be in a church visit and park sightseeing, but he ruined it. We can still make it to the church even without him.
I sent Tamra to his bathtub and told him to get dressed. I took a quick shower and got dressed formally. I wore a blue above-knee spaghetti strap dress and paired it with a white blazer.
"Where's Daddy?"
"Don't ask me. Your dad left early this morning."
"Mom, are you mad? Did you two fight last night?"
I took a deep breath. I don't want my child to know that we had a small argument last night.
"Of course not," I replied. I pecked a kiss on Tamra's rosy cheeks to assure him. "Let's go. Baby, we're going to be late for Sunday mass," I added.
