FIFTY THREE: PLEASE STAY

[SHAIRA's POINT OF VIEW]

I packed my things to move out and stay at Hera's place back then. However, Tamra was against it. I thought he'd be happy to hear that he could spend time with Hyunra, but he kept whining that his Dad would be alone and lonely.

"D-don't leave," says Jhotam.

There's a crack in his voice. I can see how hard it is for him to hold his tears from falling, and I know why... It has something to do with their pride as a man.

"Let go of my hand," I said coldly.

He insisted and squeezed it instead of letting go.

"D-don't leave," Jhotam pleads again.

I forcibly withdrew my hand and glared at him. Then I yelled, "Move out of my way!" I can't move because he's blocking my way. I looked away and cleared my throat because my voice might crack. I must muster my strength as I yell again, "Are you deaf?! I said move the hell out of the way. I'm taking back this luggage to Tamra's room."

I think he thinks that I'm going to run away from home.
