Arc 2: Part 17

In a training room, Ninia and Ran faced each other. As for Kyle, he sat on the bench while observing them closely.

“We will fight with Ki only,” Ran informed Kyle. “I’ll show you what Ki can reach in this world of magic. But I suppose you can already guess it."

He gave Kyle a knowing smile. That made Kyle frown, as if Ran knew something about him.

“Assume the position,” Ran stated in a serious tone. His eyes focused on Ninia, who immediately took her stance. “Kyle, our martial art is named Reflection Road. Quite a name, isn’t it? Our master said our martial arts are reflected by ourselves. He will teach us the basics, but, in the end, we will choose our own road to take.”

{'Reflection Road, huh ….'} Kyle repeated in his mind.

“Begin!” Ran shouted, and in the blink of an eye, Ninia appeared in a blur in front of Ran. Her speed was something that many couldn’t contend with. In the first year, Kyle believed Ninia was the second-fastest student, with the first being Vyn.
