“Explode!” As this comment was given, an explosion occurred, followed by the screams of monsters. The tunnel’s ceiling, through which the students were passing, collapsed and blocked the path, preventing the monsters from chasing them.
However, the students weren’t relieved. Euphie, the barrier maker of Class Seven, swiftly prepared additional barriers and arrays to stop the monsters and trigger another explosion. This was the second time they had done this, yet the monsters managed to break through the barriers and rubble to continue their pursuit.
“What should we do?! We can’t keep going like this!” Kendrick muttered in distress. What he said was true; they couldn’t simply repeat this process indefinitely. There were too many monsters, and their current plan wasn’t effective enough.
“We need to find a spacious area to trap them,” Hara stated. “We will put an end to them once and for all. However, it will take a lot of preparation, and some of us have to hold them back.”
