I went toward the seat saved by my precious friend and sit on it, waiting for blissful scenery though I can't help but ask him something that bothering me, of course, without turning my head.

"I thought you wouldn't talk with me again."

Lucas without turning his head said in even voice

"Do I look like someone who care about someone status?"

My voice was filled with regret. "Sadly, You do."

He turned his head in my direction with shock look. It seems like no one ever told him that. He actually looks like those guys who look down on protagonist in every story.

With a sigh, He said "I actually wanted a lackey for myself."

Now it's my turn to shock as I turn my head in his direction and found a disgusting grin plaster in his face. I understand that he was just taking revenge for my comment.

We both chuckle and turn our head in class direction as waiting for another scenery...I mean waiting for class to start.

Our beautiful teacher enters the class with her graceful steps. Looking at her walk, I can't help but think

'I wish my seat was first-row-first-seat.'

It is not that bad as the one who sitting on it is a girl. She can't really enjoy the back view, Right?

Miss Chloe starts the class with attendance.

"Rank 1 Adam White."

"Present."

"Rank 2 Kiera Roscent."

Just like that attendance continues until my name showed up.

"Rank 490 Ethan."

Everyone was clearly surprised as they turn their head toward me. I can't help but feel different smug.

"There are actually trashes whose ranked lower than him."

"Just what the hell is going on?"

Mind you but even the weakest ones are Rank G+/F-, I among all G-Rank's ranked first with just Rank G-. So, Of Course, I am as awesome as dragon.

"Keep quiet! In Entrance exam, all abilities are measured including your strength, endurance and all physical quality and of course knowledge test included."

Her voice carried hint of pride at the end. It seems she likes the fact that I am using everything I have to survive in this cruel world.

I was not as happy as her as she just stole my superiority over other. Yesterday, No one notice it as no one want to bother themselves over low ranks but as they notice my 'uniqueness' today. Of course, they will be surprised.

After that class starts, she tells about history of Humanity.

It's been few century, since mana get introduced on Earth. All species on Earth went through whole change in evolution. All animals went through huge evolution as they went from small to big or controlling element etc.

For Human, It came in form of awakening as all human who in their age of 13-14 went through awakening, Awakening was process where mana get introduced inside human body. After awakening, All Human get access to energy called mana.

That is basis everyone must know and went through. Human are not only one who evolve as environment and animals also receive drastic changes. Due to mana, many places become hard-to-survive zone as evolved plants and animals start expanding their habitats.

Around a century ago, two races migrated in our planet. They were elves and dwarves. They migrate to this planet and we found out about demon races and their plans. Demon races are going around conquering every planet and their races. Their goal is still in vague but from what is clear that you can either submit or die. Human with other races makes a deal, In return for resources and technology we provided them with land that we can't use anymore.

47 years ago, Demon races finally invaded our planet and war for survival start between Human, Elves, Dwarves and Demon.

It was fierce war where lives means nothing only blood and bones can be seen everywhere. All amount of preparation human did against demon means nothing as they bulldoze through everything. If not for warning, It is still unclear that humanity would have survives or not.

War continues for 42 years and finally all races retreat and sign a peace agreement for ten years. According to Peace Agreement; no large scales war will take place for 10 years.
