Ethan picks up his storage bracelet and I-Link to extract some information.

Ethan knows he have no choice from the moment his first plan failed. He already plans to kill him in most effective way possible.

It's his first time killing a person but it doesn't feel weird, It's just same feeling as killing an monster. Well, Human are also monster in a way.

Ethan went toward the child. The lost child has his head buried in his lap while his hands wraps around his knees.

A feeling of pity well up inside Ethan's chest. Children are most innocent creature in the world. This Child doesn't look like he did anything wrong to be deserve in this mess.

"Aggh."

Ethan suddenly fell on his knees, He clenched his hand on his chest, his heart suddenly starts contracting as his chest feel out of breath.

"Haa...Haaa....Haaaaa."

Ethan body start trembling as sudden feeling of dizziness hit him straight. Ethan feels nothing when it comes killing another person, He simply think he will do anything to survive just how he had been doing until now.

The Reason of his condition is his Memories! The Memories that he have been unconsciously suppressing until now! The Memories that holds the truth of his agonizing past! The Memories that always used to gave him dreadful and sleepless nights! The Memories that carries his greatest sins! HIS EXISTENCE!

"Brother?!"

Lost Child raise his head only find his brother curl up like a ball in pain. Tears and snorts were already covering his cute face. He looks even more pitiful this time.

Ethan raises himself clumsily and tries to open his mouth to assure him but no voice comes out.

After a whole minute, that feels like an eternity to Ethan. He finally stands out and loosens his body.

For Ethan, He didn't think too much about it. He feels that it is similar to nauseous feeling people feel after first kill. But this ignorance is going to make him regret later.

"Boy, Listen carefully. Our situation is not so good at all. I will hide you here and make sure regardless of what happen do not come out. You understand?"

'From what I consider, He most likely already informed his comrades.'

They must have already surrounded the building and looking for this explosion now. It will take some time for them to search through lower levels. If they have skill, then it's already a lost cause.

Ethan smiled toward the child. He was no saint but he knows that he won't be able to sleep a peaceful night, if he let this kid dies here.

"Tell me your name."

"Ne-il. Neil Nix."

"Neil Nix. huh?"

"I will remember it. Now, I will hide you. Make sure not to come out. Okay?"

Neil nodded his head furiously like an obedient child. Ethan hides him inside hole created by previous explosion and cover it with broken mirror as to make it look natural.

Every living being have a self-loving nature. They will always focus on their own face over anything else. This way even if they check here, it will unlikely for them to catch the mirror out.

There were two men standing outside the same building Ethan was hiding. One of them opens their mouth.

"That explosion?"

"Hmm, it is at the least on the same level on E+ Rank strength."

Both of them are at E+ Rank, The one chasing Ethan was E- Rank, if Ethan knows this situation, He would have curse his luck for sure.

One of them asked in excited voice. "What is the plan?! Are we going fight him head-on?!"

Other one answered in calm voice. "No, we will just use those trashes to tire him out."

"Tch, you are no fun."

"You can go ahead if you want to."

"Nah, I am good."

One with calmer personality is Don and the one with excited personality is Tika.

Don's I-Link rang twice. He checked the message.

[The Guy is strong, I almost lose my life. We are fighting in 12th floor. Target is most likely in above floor but this guy is strong enough to take care of all of us. Send people to upper floor to search for target and surround 11th floor, I will give a signal and attack him together--Oh shit.]

Tika said in uninterested tone. "Message is quiet a mess. I can't understand a shit."

Don tried to analyze the message. He understands few things and after some times, He gave an order to everyone. He orders his F-Rank minion.

"Ten of you go to 11th floor, remaining ones to upper floor and search the target."

Tika look at him with confused voice. "It's a trap, you know?"

They clearly know that message is not from him. The guy that chase after target was too prideful and arrogant in the first place. He will never ask for direct help and chose some excuse over it.

"I know."

Tike confusion only grew after hearing him.

"He is planning isolate everyone and takes care of everyone one by one. Let's make him think we are following his plan and use these trashes as baits. Since he already kill that trash he must be tired to some extent, we will ambush him and finish our job."

"Eeee, I rather want to fight him at full strength."

"Feel free to do, I can wait for you to tire him out."
