Ethan has urge slap the life out of him! What the hell is he thinking for God's sake?! Her father is on verge of killing him yet he actually wants to have a dinner with him!

Ethan went closer to him and wrapped his arm around his neck and turns around together with him.

Lucas raised his voice as he called him. Alice and her parents looked at two of them weirdly. They thought they might be worried about money or something so they choose not to interfere and let them do their things. Lucas lowers his voice and said.

Ethan looked at him with frustration. This guy is using his melodramatic act to get his way. Ethan is still a little weak to emotions so he can't help but, in the end, begrudgingly agree.

Miss Evans didn't say anything but move forward along with her family. Lucas follows while dragging Ethan along with him.

Alice sneaks a glance toward them and shakes her head. She has no idea why her mother invited them but she was hopping Ethan will deal with it. Ethan avoids her. She knows that so she was not worried about it. But that Lucas…He messed up all in the end. She just hoped that this dinner somehow ends. She will take care of him in academy.

Ethan looked at Alice and think about all excuses he can. He needs to make sure Alice won't grab his collar in the end. He is planning to put all the blame on Lucas. All of them enter the restaurant. A man comes and escorts us to their private room according to reservation. We sat on the chair but not in the way everyone wants. Alice didn't know when but shifted toward Ethan. Due to that, on round table, Evan couples are sitting together while Alice and Ethan are sitting together while, maybe a stroke of bad luck, but Lucas somehow ended up besides Papa Evans. There is still a saving grace that Ethan is sitting beside him and next to him is Alice.

Lucas lowered his head, refusing to even look up! He was tapping his foot anxiously. He is now regrets coming here from the bottom of his heart! He wants nothing more than to run away!

Jim Evans looked at him from the corner of his eyes. Lucas flinched as he received his gaze. He lowered his head further and spoke in meek voice.

Jim didn't say anything and focus on the menu in front of him. He deliberately shifted toward him because he wants to keep these two brats by his side. The polite one seems to be ordinary and didn't seem like he will reach out to his daughter.

Jim's eyes shifted toward Lucas. Lucas feels like his surrounding has submerged in darkness. He had fallen into some unknown abyss with no way out. He is barely holding on there by his will!

Ethan feels a taps on his foot. He looked down and noticed a long leg with black heel shoes tapping on to his foot. Ethan looked at Alice besides him. She was also looking at him while her foot keeps striking his leg lightly.

Ethan was confused as he looked at her. She was doing nothing but keeps hitting him lightly. Ethan kind of feels weird as her toes keeps hitting his leg. He doesn't understand her action at all. Was it some kind of punishment? She could have wait at the least till academy- A message! It was a Morse code.

Ethan has no idea about Morse code. He looked at her while she keeps hitting his leg with rhythmic patterns. Ethan has no choice but extend his hand toward her legs. He is planning write above her skirt that he doesn't know about Morse code.

Everyone turn their head toward Alice as she shrieked. She has a faint blush on her face as she lowered her head. She just felt something cold touching her thigh. It was so cold that it sends a jolt to her whole body. She peeks toward sides and notices Ethan looking at her pleading expression. She has urge to scream and tell everyone that this bastard just molested her!

She took a deep breath and look at her mother without meeting eyes.

"I…hit my…toes."

"…Are you that nervous with your friends?"

Miss Evans smiles at her nervous daughter. She didn't know her daughter has such a side. She looked at the boy besides him.

Ethan has a wry smile at his face. He was only planning to touch her skirt, who knew that her skirt will be so small. He must admit though... her skin was soft and warm that he wants to rub them more but he only kept it as a thought...

Ethan feels something pressing on his toes. He looked down and saw her heels digging on his shoes. He didn't mind at all and keeps his smile, hiding his pain. Anything is better than dying as a molester after all.

"So, Ethan, tell me about you."

"…Miss Evans. I am not interesting individual though my friend is."

Ethan pulled his neck and push Lucas in front. Alice's mother is making him uneasy for some reason. He wants to avoid her without offending her but she always starts with him.

"I found you interesting if you ask me. My daughter never once took her eyes off you since we meet. So, how can I not found you interesting?"

'Of course she will! She has been telling him to fuck off from the moment we meet!'

Ethan had no idea what excuse he should use here. He also felt a cold gaze from his right side that may make things…no, his life difficult. In the end, he just made a wry smile on his face. If he opens his mouth, it will only end up in disaster so why not take a breath for silence.

Ethan felt something weird with her words and tone but he wasn't able to pay too much attention over it as a cold gaze start drilling on his skin, cooling down all blood in his body. Target has been switched from Lucas to HIM!

Alice can't help but raised her voice up. Miss Evans turns her head toward her daughter with a smile. Her daughter has a distraught expression on her face. She has suspected that something is going on between them. That's why she invited him…it seems she was right.

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to make him uncomfortable, I just want to know about him, you know, I am just curious. I won't ask him about you anymore."

In the end, Alice just nods her head. She can't win against her mother! Alice starts believing that her mother suspects something. Most people believes that her father was the reason of their guild status but those who are close them knows that their guild managed and developed by his wife. Ethan flinched at the masculine voice. He slowly turned his head to the side. Mr. Evans was looking at him. It seems he is still not in safe zone. Now what, is he planning to fight? Should he pull his gun? Probably not, he will be cleaved into two before he even completes a thought.

His head was still spinning as tried to understand the situation. He was being tortured by him for God knows how long. Even sense of time seems to be warped here! While this guy was busy flirting with her mother! Well, Karma is a Bitch!

Lucas doesn't give a damn about Ethan's situation. Anyone will be angry if you flirt with their wife. It's not like he didn't understand where he is coming from, Lucas himself loves older woman but he knows his limit, unlike someone, who straight up aim for a GrandMaster's wife. He has no intention of helping him even a little bit!

"…What are your future plans?"
