Love at Sight.

Ethan was standing in front of the large entrance of LIFE academy. His hairstyle had gone back to the one with low-pony tail. He had also removed his piercings. It's not like him to show off his beauty, after all.

The summer vacation felt too short. In beginning of the summer vacation, he thought that he will be spending his days alone in some abandon building. But what he never thought he will get to sleep on a same roof with a bewitching beauty…Nah, she is his boss now. He should respect her…

They actually never sleep together though. She was always awake when he woke up and she always sleep after him. He did try to sleep after her one day but she didn't even come home that night! He had no choice but to give up in the end. He did try to imagine what kind of face she will make when she fell asleep? Her relaxed and calm face must be priceless.

Ethan looked around and found few groups of student walking inside. His eyes fell on female students. They are like ugly duck compared to Raven. It's a sin to compare two of them.

"…Alex."

Someone call him from behind. Ethan turned around but Alex already crossed him.

"…Let's go early. It's been a month since you saw Miss Chloe, after all."

"…What do you mean?"

"…Aren't you missing her?"

"What the hell are you trying to say?!"

Both of them stops right at their spot and look at each other.

"…Don't you have a thing for Miss Chloe?"

"…"

"…But you always looked at her like that? You even attend her class diligently… Not to mention, me. Everyone who had ever seen you staring at her once will say the same."

Ethan rolled his eyes at him and ignored him completely. These guys won't really leave it alone, do they? Let them make a mistake, he is sure he will keep publishing it even from his grave.

"…What did you do in summer?"

Ethan looked at him contemplating if he should tell him that he was a living with woman hotter than Miss Chloe but throw away that thought when he imagine it reaching to Adam and Lucas. He is sure that everything he had suffered until now while look like a child play.

"…Jobs."

"Ah… For resources…?"

"… Hmm."

"…Life is quiet hard for low ranker like us. Isn't it?"

Alex starts complaining about how unfair our life is. Ethan just heard it from one hear.

"…Oye trash!"

Ethan stopped at his feet for a second and continues moving forward. He can tell that the unknown masculine voice was directed at him. As long as he reached the class, he will be safe.

"…I am talking to you, you piece of trash!"

Ethan didn't stop and move toward his classroom as fast as possible. It didn't take long for him to reach his classroom. He finally sigh a breath of relief.

"…Hey, wait!"

Ethan enters the class and looked back for the owner of familiar voice. Alex walks toward him with hurried steps.

"…at the least, inform me first before running. Will you?"

"…You ever read about witch hunt?"

"…I don't think it's that bad?"

Ethan moved toward his desk. He suddenly stops and looked at the seat in front of him where Alex sits. The students sitting on it have black hair and slender body. He was lazing over the desk. He looked up as he felt a gaze on himself.

"…Ethan? You came…Why are you not sitting, my friend?"

Ethan backed off as he felt something off. He have a feeling, he is going to get involved in something seriously annoying. He still took his seat.

"That's my desk."

Alex frowned at the invader who had invaded his seat and treating it as its own. Adam looked around as he tried to find something.

"…I can't see your name here…"

"…It's my desk, I sat on it daily."

"…Did you sit yesterday?"

"…No."

"…See, Problem solved."

"…Yeah, You're right. My bad, I will sit beside you."

"…What the hell is wrong with you guys?!"

Alex sat down on the seat beside Adam. Ethan stands up and slammed his hands down on his desk. What the hell just happen? Why the hell did he just give up his seat like a mob?

"…We came into an agreement."

"…Agreement, my ass. He just made a fool out of you."

"…What's wrong with you? Why are acting bugged up these early in each other?"

Adam interjected as he found his friend acting weird.

"…I am trying to understand what the hell just happen?"

"…Do you want us to jump at each other with mana bombs on each other?"

Ethan turned silent and sat down. Alex was referring to that night when they saved Adam. He can't argue back so he can't help but backed off. Adam scratched his head with an embarrassed smile.

"…That aside, Ethan…I think I fell in love…What's up with that face?"

Ethan looks like he had eaten shit when he heard him. Alex just looked at him with expectation and waited for him to continue.

"…Let's have a quick flashback then."

Adam was running on his way to academy with bread in his mouth. Academy's entrance finally becomes visible to his eyes. He went inside by running and stumble into someone. His only caught a glimpse of her figure and estimated that the one is stumbling into is a girl. He backed off right away but a little force still crash on her back.

Both of them fall on back and front respectively. Adam raised his head and his eyes saw the girl panties in open view as she fell by her front. The girl hurriedly pulled herself up and presses her skirt as to hide her panties.

"…Did you… see it?"

Adam was still engraving the image he just saw in his mind. When she asked, he hurriedly shook his head to deny her. The girl stands up and left with hurried steps, lowered head and embarrassed expression. Adam looked at her shrinking back and his heart beat suddenly fasten and he felt something hot and weird spreading in his body.

"…That was lust."

Ethan backed off slightly while looking away and said in annoyed voice.

"…Fuck off… Damn it, I talk about my love life with you for the first time but you…are you even a friend? How can you compare my pure feeling to such a depraved thing…?"

"…Ask Alex if you don't believe it."

Both of them turned toward Alex who flinched and back off due to their intense gaze.

"…I think… it is love."

"…See I told you. I bet you think about Miss Chloe like this, that's why even after two months, you are unable to make any progress."

Ethan looked at Alex silently. He was lost for words. He is trying to decrypt the existence name Alex. What's the matter with him? First Desk…? Now this…? He can't understand his motives and thoughts. It's like this guy is not thinking anything at all!

"…Who is she, don't tell me, it's from different class?"

Ethan was worried about him. If he lusted-ahem, fell for someone, as he narrated, from other classes then he is going to have hard time as students from other classes doesn't treat our class nicely.

"…It's from our class. It's like a fate, don't you think?"

Ethan looked at his devilishly charming face and clicked his tongue. Just what kind of girl won't agree if he asked her? It will be rather surprised if he gets rejected.

"…There…that girl over there…"

Adam pointed at the girl with his chin. Ethan traced his chin and looked at the girl he is pointing to. There was actually only girl sitting right now. She has beautiful navy blue hair falling down like waterfall and blue eyes like a calm ocean. She have an innocent appeal that makes you want to tease her but what covers his face right now was a pure horrified expression. His face paled like its lost all the blood. The girl in the question was none other than Lily Nix, the infamous sister of Miss Chloe.

"…You don't look well, what happened to you? Did you also fell for her? Damn it, I am regretting now… I shouldn't have told you!!"

"Adam... hear me out. Give up on her."

"Bullshit…! I will fight you to death if I have to but I am not giving up on her for you."

"…It's not me, but someone else and you don't want to mess with 'that person'."

"…I can't believe it… you are going to call other people to fight for your love. I am truly disappointed on you. It's fine though just called everyone you know of, I will beat the shit out of them altogether."

Conversation turns in heated one as both of them said in loud voice, class fell silent and looked in the direction. What they find left a complicated expression in face. The lowest ranked and highest ranked person are in heated debut?! What kind of bizarre thing is happening in first day after summer vacation? Did he grow the rumored balls of steel or something?

Door opened and everyone turned their head. A blonde hair teenager with striking appearance and blue eyes comes inside with easy steps. His face contains disinterest toward everything around. He went to his desk and sat on it while especially ignoring someone beside him. Ethan was slightly nervous but he still greeted him.

"…Hey Lucas-!"

"…I am not interested…"

Ethan turned silent and looked at him. Lucas sat straight and didn't look at him. Ethan silently stared at him and turns around with a dejected expression after some time. Adam looked at it and tried to talk with Lucas but Alex shakes his head at him. He looked at him and turns forward to face class board.

After tens minute, Miss Chloe comes in and starts the class. Ethan looked at her face and smacks his lips. He will never admit it in front of other but he did miss her slightly.

Ethan looked away as she suddenly turned to look at his face. It seems she felt her gaze. Agh…Damn it. He always gets played by these guys.

All Class ended, First Class was Miss Chloe while second one is Professor Kevin and another male professor. Ethan only pays attention to Miss Chloe class and totally ignores other classes.

Someone suddenly turn the coffee cup upside down over Ethan's head. Ethan act as if he didn't even understand what happened as coffee suddenly wet his hair and drip from his hair. He was stunned at the unexpected rain.

"Oh, was there someone sitting? My bad, I thought it was a garbage box so I threw it."

Chuckles.

Multiple chuckles rang out along with some sharp and muffled laugh. Ethan put his hand on his face and wiped it once. He looked behind and sees a tall and slender guy standing with a cup, holding it upside down. He was even shaking to make sure that even the last drop of it fell over him.

"…this place is not garbage but it is quite close to one… look in the window, you will find one."

Ethan pointed at the window with his thumb or more accurately, the glass on the window. The guy turned his face and looked at it unconsciously, his face become visible in the glass mirror of the window due to sunlight. He furiously turned his head and looked at Ethan who was looking at him mocking expression. He smacked his hand down on his desk and said in loud voice.

"…What did you say to me, you low-rank trash!"

"…Just what you heard, you jackass."

The guy flew into rage. He didn't think that this low rank piece of trash will talk back to him. Just what is his worth?! He is nothing more than a worm waiting to crushes by his feet.

Ethan didn't back off and look him in directly into his eyes. His expression turns harden and he blinked twice. He wants to look away. He can't believe that a trash likes him, dared to look him in the eyes. He felt his pride hurt. He flew into rage as he saw how he was still looking at him in the eyes.

He raised his hand and punched down Ethan directly. Ethan folded his arm and rose to above to cover his face. His fist slammed on him and Ethan flew to the side. His head smacked into wall and blood spot formed on the wall. Ethan grabbed the wounded side of his head with other hand.

"What the hell…!"

Adam pushes himself off his desk and went to Ethan. He didn't think he would just throw the punch like that, does he not know that it is prohibited to fight or attack any student outside the training room?

Ethan raised his hand and stretched it toward him and signaled him to stop. He slowly and wobbly stand up while keep pressing his head from the side.

"Adam, you saw it right… He attacked me unsuspected… I hope whatever gave you strength to do what you did now is strong enough to protect you from being expelled today…"
