Chapter 18: Bad feeling

The number of humans has decreased, either due to old age or disease or some vampire attack that occurred when I was not around

The point is...there are less than 50 humans left on the entire continent.

The human protection law was quickly passed and the rainicorns almost stopped visiting this dimension.

It's exactly the same thing that humans do with endangered animals, only now it's our turn to be the endangered species

But in every race there are extremist individuals of some kind, rich rainicorns hired hunting rainicorns to capture us for display as exotic species or to eat us

That small percentage ignored my warnings and communication attempts...so I made an example of them.

With the rainicorn problem solved, I was finally able to focus on Tom's big ship and the vampire hunt.

When the whole thing with the rainicorns ended, I was 15 years old.

The vampires were decreasing in number more and more, my hunt was unstoppable, I had to kill them for all the humans they killed

But soon they learned to hide better

The common vampires disappeared, they hid in some hole for fear of me.

The only vampires still facing me were the three remaining court members.

The Vampire King never attacked me in person, I still don't know why

But the other 3 tried to kill me and attack Tom's settlement every so often.

At the beginning it was 1vs1

The fool was the first to 'attack' me and by attacking I mean playing hide and seek

The second was sister moon

She is frankly quite dangerous, but for me, not one bit.

She tried to paralyze me with her psychic powers, but my spiritual power is so great that I didn't even feel it.

I created this technique based on how the protagonist of Infamous: Second Son moved

But I was not the only one who noticed this improvement

The hierophant was almost killed by me

I was superior to him in every way, but when I was about to land the final blow

the hierophant transformed into a human

This change made me hesitate for a moment and that moment was enough for the hierophant to escape.

Then came the next big change

My fights to the death were no longer 1vs1, now they were 1vs2, it seems that they put aside some of their pride to try to finish me off, the only reason they didn't go all 3 at the same time was because of the little pride they had left

So we went back to the same routine

Collect pieces during the day, 1v2 deathmatch at nightfall, then sleep and repeat

By the time I found out, I was 18

It takes a couple of years to finish the boat now, after all it's only 30 people and it's a very big boat

I kept perfecting my powers against the court during these two years, now it was 1vs3, the fool joined our battles, although he didn't do much, he just distracted me

I could have finished them any time I wanted

But they were one of my only forms of entertainment that didn't involve video games, plus they helped me progress with my powers.
