An Unexpected Savior(1)

"Guys, watch out!" Marcel bellowed and jumped away. Half a second later, a tentacle hit the place where he was just now.

Everyone understood Marcel's intention and all of them kicked the floor, listening to the guy's word about mana is useless, so they will use the old-fashion way.

Pulling out all of their most overpowered guns and firearms in their arsenals, they all open fire at the Senator while Vanoss uses his Mega AK-47, raining down a hail of bullets on the Senator from all sides, while the bullets didn't pierce his skin that much, it managed to deal a bit of damage and not before long he is being shredded alive from thousands of rounds hitting his body.

Minutes passed, everyone stopped and looked at the disgusting scene. The Senator's remains were only a leg and countless black goo spread all over the floor.

"Yeah! You think we could kill you with magic? Think again asshole, we got guns and bitches!"

After Wildcat's taunting, not even a second has passed, to much of everyone's surprise, they felt the mana in their surroundings starting to pull like a magnet was being used. The mana in the surrounding area begin to enter the corpse before it reforms back to normal.

"What?!"

"Think again, human. Mana is literally everywhere! I can absorb whatever I want!"

"Ah, screw this!"

Beside Wildcat, Moo's body leaned forward and rushed towards the monster-fused man. Then, he slashed upwards with his enchanted Diamond Sword.

But contrary to his expectations, his attacks failed, because he totally forgot some properties within the sword.

By the time the sword made contact with its skin, the enchantments in the sword seemed to dissipate when they touched the man's body!

'Oh no…" Moo's expression changed. Without hesitation, he jumped back while evading the attacks of the tentacles.

"Damn! He indeed could suck anything!" Basically cursed under his breath. To prove his theory, he pulls out an enchanted Bow and arrow, shooting a powerful magical arrow towards it.

But just like with Moo's Diamond sword, the  enchantment properties within the arrow quickly dissipated before reaching the man. Only the normal arrow managed to reach the enemy, but it was useless in front of his defenses.

"Yup! Proves my theories!'

Cursing his luck, Marcel jumped aside and evaded a punch coming towards him.

"DIe yE PieCe oF sHiTs!" The monster-fused man shouted crazily. His body moved quickly through the room, using the walls and the roof as springboards.

Even now, his energy fluctuations continued climbing crazily, only stopping when he reached at the level of Rank 7.

With a twisted smile, he extended some of his tentacles and thrust it towards Vanoss.

The Owl man snorted and did a side flip. He then dissipated his gub and focused only on his regular Diamond Sword.

At the same time, he detonated most of the Cobweb C4/Mines on the floor near them.

In an instant, tens of pellets in the floor all activated. The Cobwebs filled the room and many of them headed towards the abomination closely.

But the creature did not seem to be bothered by that. It continued attacking the group of six while evading the webs. And even when the webs touched it, it used its strong body to break them and continue the chase.

"What in the hell is that!?" Terroriser asked with a look of disgust.

"That Black pile of shit from Kalren City! In my theory, try to not use your mana externally or this creature will absorb it!" Basically stated.

Terroriser's face turned pale, if it can absorb mana out of him, then he imagined himself as a husk with no life in it, that gave him shivers, but he did not allow himself to be paralyzed by fear. He moved nimbly through the room avoiding the abomination's attacks while at the same time holding his mana carefully to not have it absorbed.

But the fact that he could not use his mana freely put him on a disadvantage. Countless tentacles pierced towards him, blocking all his routes of escape.

"Hey!"

Before the Senator could catch the Irish cyborg, Vanoss uses double AK-47 and shoots all of them towards him.

With the help of its tentacles, it blocked most of the bullets then struck all of them towards Vanoss reaching the speed that none of them could evade.

"Fuck! I don't think I can dodge this!"

With tens of dark tentacles reaching towards Vanoss' face at the speed and strength of the man became beyond all the team's limits. With now becoming at the level of Rank 8, the monster-fused man is finally going to suppress all of them.

However...

At a speed that none of them, even the monster-fused man, Marcel or Brian's senses couldn't even know what just happened, a white glowing energy blade appeared, cutting each tentacle cleanly.

Turning his head a bit, he saw a mysterious woman with long silver hair, high-heeled armored stilettos, an odd british-outfit, all the while wearing a black waist cape with crow feathers in it, her blood red color eyes both narrowed at Vanoss and the attackers, as the Owl man stood there, never expecting some stranger shows up and save him and his friends from danger.

"Well... this is unexpected."

Ignoring the Owl man's remarks, the mysterious woman spoke to the monster-fused man.

"I finally found one of you, you all really think you can run from us?"

"aH, I NeVer eXPecT oNe Of tHe CoUnCiLs HoE wIll bE HerE."

"Yeah, and the reason I'm here is to exterminate termites like you!"

With these words, her blades lit up and cut towards the abomination at the speed that exceeds light speed itself.

"AAAAhggggaAAAhhhgaGGhggG!!!" The abomination roared in an intelligible voice. Its tentacles formed a shield in front of it to stop the blades. At the same time, it tried to devour the energy of the woman's blades.

But suddenly, the energy on the blades changed. It became incredibly berserk and destructive, burning through the tentacles of the creature and piercing towards its chest.

"EEEAakkkkEEkKk!!!" The abomination roared in pain. It jumped aside and hurriedly moved away while looking at the woman with a frightened expression.

The fact that it did not manage to absorb her energy frightened it. It felt as though the energy was poison for its body.

And in fact, it was worse than poison.

"nEuTrOnIaL eNeRgY, bLoOdY hElL." The monster-fused man cursed as he crouched down. Its cut appendages twisted on the ground, but the woman used her blades to cut them into bits and burn them to dust.

"Disgusting parasites, die!" She called out and rushed towards the monster.

The Abomination cried again. Recognizing the danger, it jumped away and kicked a wall, rushing towards a window.

But he stepped on some of the Cobweb mines before they exploded, spitting out a huge wall of cobwebs in the middle of its path. Then, the wall of cobwebs managed to catch it, restricting its body.

The Devourer growled. It began to use its energy absorption ability on the mana in its surroundings, devouring the energy like a tasty snack. Then, it pulled its arm back and threw a punch!

BOOM!

Astonishingly, its punch destroys all of the webs and creates a shockwave that destroys all of the windows and send the Banana Bus Crew flying back except for the woman, who stood there unscathed.

But after it's free from the webs. A shadow appeared at that moment. Using the wall as cover, Vanoss appeared suddenly beside the creature and uses [Everlasting Strike] with a regular Diamond Sword in his hand, with the help from the woman who uses her ability to send a fraction of these Neutronial Energy the monster called into the diamond sword, Vanoss manage to cut through most of the tentacles with ease.

Once more, the abomination growled in pain. This time, it opted for jumping up and planned to destroy the roof to escape.

But the group was not planning to give it that opportunity. With a silver flash of light, the woman appeared above it, brandishing her two energy blades crisscrossed.

Out of options, the monster-fused man could only sacrifice its remaining tentacles in exchange for its life. Then, it jumped towards the only remaining place where it could escape.

In Nogla's direction.

Nogla did not panic this time. Instead, he drew his large Hoe and his Jerry Can in his other hand, going to do a double strike in his 69th time.

The whole time since the start of the fight between the woman and the man, he went out and found a guard of the building and began to beat the shit out of him until he finally reached the 68th time.

By the time the monster-fused man was a few feet from Nogla, he attacked!

"Jerry can for the win, boys!"

BOOOM!

The attack filled with shocking destructive force met the monster, creating a powerful destructive shockwave that blew away part of the building!

"SCREEEEEECHHHHH!" The devourer screamed in pain. Its body was unable to endure Nogla's punch and flew away, crashing against a wall, losing 58% of its entire body!

"Ah… shit," Nogla staggered several steps back. His body wobbled weakly at the edge of collapse, as two of his weapons were all destroyed.

Meanwhile, the woman walked towards the monster and looked at it.

Materializing dozens of energy spears on her back, the woman used them to impale the monster-fused man, instead of disintegrating all of its cells, she destroyed the consciousness between the two beings, finally killing them.

However, as soon as the man was killed, something strange happened.

The body of the man dried up at visible speed, quickly turning into a desiccated corpse.

"Holy fuck. What even is that thing?"

Putting all of their gazes towards the woman, some of the group couldn't help but ask.

"Hey, excuse me. Who the hell are you?"

Unfortunately, they did not have time to get their answers about the strange situation.

"No time, people are coming. Out fight has gaining too much attentions."

Just a simple tap on the floor with her foot, a large magic circle appears below everyone, which startles some of them before instantly, they all disappeared.
