"Nice to meet you, gentlemens. My name is Sara Apolovian, one of the members of the Empire's Shadows."
The moment Moo heard the woman's words, his face gave out a surprise look before it immediately became wary.
"Who?" Nogla was perplexed.
"The Empire's Shadows. What I've learned from the Village Chief I visited a few weeks ago is that they are one of the deadliest shadow organizations led by the Emperor. People have little knowledge about them and what I heard is that they are more cunning and dangerous enough to destroy every nation unless they have a demigod on their side."
"You are kinda smart, young man. Although your cultivation is a bit lower, your talent and gears are definitively top class. I'm curious now about why you were not known in the beginning. And I'm mostly curious about those ancient skills I've heard from the spies reports about you," The woman then licked her lips and raised her dagger, "I guess I will know about it if I catch you and take you to my superiors."
"You should speak after you catch us, biatch!" Vanoss spat out as he gave her the pair of middle fingers.
The woman shrugged, "Hm, I admit that I underestimated all of you. However, you still underestimate the power of a Rank 9!"
"Oh yeah, then can you outsmart the 2nd amendment?!" Vanoss shouted as he raised his Mega AK-47 and opened fire, unleashing a burst of a thousand rounds.
"FIRE AT THAT BITCH!" shouted Basically in an American southern accent, pulling out an Atchisson AA-12 and aimed at the woman.
And then all hell broke loose.
The whole street once again became a shooting gallery, the large space echoing with the cacophony of some dozen different types of firearms being discharged within.
Nogla had set up an M60 bipod on one of the rubbles and was now firing away, the gun slurping up the ammo-belt like a string of spaghetti. Not to be outdone, Delirious had brought up a pair of M240's and were also now adding their voice to the choir.
Moo could be seen standing up, unflinching, shooting off an S&W 29 like he was trying to be fuckin' Dirty Harry or something. It was complete chaos as tracer fire lit up the whole dark night. Glass and concrete shattered and went flying everywhere. The whole clusterfuck made Basically briefly think of shoot-outs from old Western movies, 'cept that here it was the Magnificent Six up against just one bandit. But what a bandit she was.
"I hope you like it up all three holes, bitch!" shouted Terroriser as he unleashed a barrage of bullets from the Gau-19 Gatling gun in his hands.
Throughout all of this, though, the woman was moving fast as lightning, bolting, jumping, ducking, dodging, twirling through the air, running this way, running that way, running up the walls even. Surely some of the relentless barrage must have been hitting her, unfortunately her teleportation skill kept her avoiding even a single bullet.
"Holy hell, is she some kind of Enderman!?" Delirious shouted in a panic.
Elsewhere, Nogla stood up from cover, pulled the pin on a unique design grenade, and threw it. "Parry this, you filthy casual!" he shouted as the grenade sailed through the air, right at where their foe was standing.
Unfortunately, she leapt up, spinning in mid-air and her foot made contact with the grenade, kicking it right back in the direction from whence it came.
"._. Oh… she did parry i-"
BOOM!
The blast of the grenade sent Nogla flying. Even though the modified grenade is powerful enough to destroy a modern tank to oblivion, Nogla seemed to receive little harm from it.
"...Ow."
And at that moment, the woman suddenly disappeared.
Widening his eyes, Terroriser instantly aimed at the place where he felt the energy fluctuation thanks to his cybernetic eyes, but at that moment, he felt a second energy fluctuation behind him!
"!!!"
Terroriser hurriedly changed his aim towards behind him, but then, the woman appeared in the place of the first energy fluctuation!
This time, the dagger was cutting towards his back.
However...
"Motherfucker!"
Bang!
At some point, a pistol known as the Jackal had appeared in Terroriser's other hand. In less than a second, the Jackal aimed and shot dozens of bullets towards the woman.
'He had another!?'
"Tsk!" The woman clicked her tongue and avoided the bullets with ease, but it meant she failed to attack Terroriser. And at the same time, the others' attacks, arrows, bullets, harming potions, fish, and other random shit came at her.
With a sharp gaze, the woman swiftly avoided both of their attacks with relative ease and retreated again. Unfortunately, another lucky arrow was flying in direction to the place where she moved to.
"Hmph!" The woman grunted and twisted her body to avoid the arrow. After she experienced the previous golden before, she did not dare to receive another. In fact, the explosions caused by the explosive flying sheeps she received had greatly damaged her armor and dagger. She could feel that her dagger's edge had turned duller, and part of the dagger had cracked.
But...
"So your ability to predict the place where I appear is not fully perfect, huh."
'DAMN IT! She knew!!'
Seeing Terroriser's expression, the woman easily knew it then smirked and disappeared again. And just like last time, there were two energy fluctuations before she reappeared.
Moreover, the location of one of the energy fluctuations was being blocked by Delirious, Moo, and Nogla. With them in the way, Terroriser could not shoot in that direction!
His thoughts moved quickly. In a thousandth of a second, he made his choice.
His two pistols aimed at one of the energy fluctuations, while he let the others attack the other.
But suddenly, another energy fluctuation appeared!
This time, behind Terroriser.
This was the true target of the woman.
Although surprised, he did not panic. Without hesitation, he crouched down and let go of his guns.
The woman appeared. Her dagger glowed brightly, aiming towards Terroriser's shoulder.
No matter how Terroriser tried, he could not avoid this attack. Even his endoskeleton armor is nigh-indestructible, the woman's dagger is a Legendary-class weapon that could pretty much cut through his metal skeleton.
Thus, Terroriser did not try to evade it. Instead, he unsheathed his enchanted Netherite sword and swung it towards the dagger.
The Netherite lit up with a soft glow as it emits its enchantments within it.
It was the first time Terroriser used his sword to attack the woman since the battle started.
Although the woman saw Terroriser's attack, she did not pay attention to it. As a Rank 9, if her dagger was unable to overpower the hurried attack of a Rank 5 then all her training had been in vain.
The next instant, though, her expression changed.
Without hesitation, the woman forced her movements to a stop and jumped back.
Unfortunately...
Swish!
...she was a bit too late.
The dark sword clashed against the dagger, but instead of the expected metallic sound, the sword cut the dagger as though it was butter. Moreover, it even managed to injure the woman's hand.
"Ugh!" The woman held her hand and teleported away. She then looked at Terroriser with an expression of astonishment and disbelief.
"Yeah! Never underestimate the power of the Netherite sword with shit tons of maximum enchantments! I am nerdy as shit and you just got fooled, mOtHeRfUckEr!" Terroriser taunts the woman in his high-pitch voice at the end.
"Damn, this is bad…" The woman said under her breath. She looked at the blood coming from her right hand and her expression turned bitter.
Not only did she lose her dagger this time, but also her dominant hand. In its current condition, her right hand would be useless for the rest of the fight.
"What in the hell is that sword…" She wondered in confusion. It had cut through her dagger and defenses as though they did not exist!
'Wait a minute… that mineral, it looks just like that leader of the Red Scripture, Joan Fernandez' sword and armor. Wait… no, could it be? Is that Netherite???"
Netherite, the rarest and the most hardest metals in Fordalt. It is a mineral that could withstand anything, not even the legendary weapon [Razor Edge] could scratch the mineral even the slightest, because the metal is absolutely durable, about durable as the legendary Titan Ravager, an SS-rank magical beast.
And, it is extremely rare, literally the metal is nowhere to be found anywhere in the world except it found in the Dark Realm in the legends.
And right now, with her opponent having that weapon, defeating him would be much harder.
But before she knew it, her situation became far worse when Vanoss and Marcel both pulled out the same sword as Terroriser, which made her possibility of winning turns significantly lower.
To be honest, facing the three with Netherite swords, and even without her teleportation skill, the woman was strong enough to take them all out for herself without much problem. The problem was the injury that Julian had inflicted on her before.
That injury had taken away at least 50% of her combat capacity. And although she hated to admit it, fighting against these groups of men with the remaining 50% was a bit difficult.
And now that she had lost her dagger and injured her dominant arm, the situation had turned even worse. At most, she could use 20-30% of her strength!
'Damn it, I'll be the joke of my friends if they learn that I'm losing to a group of lower rank youngsters!'
The whole Banana Bus Crew walked close to each other and looked at the woman warily. Even though the woman had been injured again, they did not lower their guard easily.
"Tell me, where the hell did you guys get the most durable and rarest mineral in Fordalt??"
None of them did not bother to reply to her. Instead, Terroriser looks at her smugly.
The woman was startled, but soon, she understood why Terroriser was smiling.
Around them, several beastmen appeared, led by a powerful catkin woman.
"Stop right there! If you don't follow my instructions, we will kill you!" Matilda shouted at the hooded woman in a commanding tone and an authoritative manner.
The hooded woman raised her hands helplessly to indicate that she was not going to resist. At the same time, Matilda's cat ears perked up as she heard some weird noises coming to the building on the left.
Curious, she simply swung her weapon on the wall of the building and crumbled, and soon found Zabrina straddling her little brother Julian and making out.
"J-J-JULIAN!?! WHY ARE YOU FUCKIN' THAT WITCH!?!?!"
"Ohhhh boy (° . °)" Moo mumbled.
"Um... How did you find us?" Julian asked.
"I COULD HEAR YOU CLEARLY FROM MY CAT EARS!"
"Mannn, just a bit more, we are getting intense here~"
"No! Get off my brother, you witch! I'm not ready to have a niece or nephew, especially coming from a witch's cunt!" Matilda said with a tense expression.
With a sigh, Zabrina stood up and her clothes magically recovered.
"Oh well, why would I even talk back to a Rank 10. That is practically suicide, fufufu~"
"Shut the FUCK up, you witch cunt, or I'm going to stab you in the fucking head!" Matilda threatened, a five-meter longsword materialized in her hands, emanating a tremendous amount of magical energy enough to one shot Zabrina, even if she is in her Ethereal form.
"Holy shit, she's sassy as fuck, I'm liking her even more." Terroriser leaned into Basically and said to him with a sly grin, which the latter couldn't help but to agree with him.
But almost instantly, the situation changed again.
"Miss Matilda, can you stop, please? These people are our allies."
A voice came from behind Matilda. Then, a nun-like girl appeared followed by several knights.
It was Sherene, the High Priestess of the Church of the Golden Dawn and the Queen of the Kingdom of Goldrose.
Hearing her words, in response, Matilda's expression turned ugly, "Sherene, what is the meaning of this!?
"Calm down, Matilda." Sherene smiled gently. She then looked at our group of friends, "Don't worry, gentlemens. I'm not your enemy."
"Oh well, that is still good." Moo said.
But still, they were confused, while some of them clenched their fist ready to fight. But before they could understand the situation, three new people appeared suddenly.
They were Wildcat, Sebastian, and Samara, the female knight that always followed behind Sherene. Right now, she is floating in the air carrying the two with both of her hands like it was nothing. As in, a teacher took two troublesome kids who were in a fight.
"Okay! Okay! Put me down! I am not a disabled toddler!"
Putting the two down, Wildcat immediately moved beside his friends instantly, while Sebastian and Samantha moved near their respective companions
"Okay, now that everybody is here, can we talk?"
For some reason, Sherene's smile seemed a bit mischievous.
