Chapter 69

After lunch, I pulled Hannah to the sofa and sat down. With a serious look on her face, I asked, "Hannah, do you want to know my situation these years and the baby in my belly..."

"This is your privacy. If you want to say it, I'm willing to listen. If you feel it's not convenient to say it, I respect you." She said thoughtfully.

"I married a rich man before, but he was sick and passed away. He left everything to me." I briefly explained the source of my wealth.

"Do you love him very much?"

I shook my head slightly. "We are not in love."

Hearing this, she didn't ask any more questions. Instead, she reached out and hugged me. "I'll take care of you from now on."

"Can you take care of me?"

"No, but I don't mind learning how to take care of people."

Edmund's POV

I haven't got any news about Leanna for a month.

She was like a drop of water, disappearing from the world all of a sudden.

But I won't give up until I find her.
