Dinner at "Le Jules Verne"

After eating breakfast, she starts to get up from the table, so Ben tells her,

"What happened last night? That's all he says to which Lara blurts out,

"I don't want your forgiveness and stay away from me from now on."

"Listen to me, apologize, who has been here?" He smiles at her and says.

"Means?" Lara asks him quizzically.

"I have no regrets about last night nor am I apologizing," Ben said.

"Wonderful Mr Ben, Instead of being ashamed of your mistake, you are feeling proud", she marvels.

"It was not a mistake", He says as he approaches Lara. Lara also says getting closer to him,

"But that was my mistake because I'm not interested in you", She looks into Ben's eyes and says.

"But I'm very interested in you", he smiles and comes closer to her.

Seeing him close again, she immediately backs away from him and angrily leaves.

Coming out of the hotel she takes a deep breath and starts walking to get some fresh air, coming to a little distance from the hotel she takes out her mobile from her jeans pocket and dials John's number. John meets Howard at the beach at this time. He hears his phone ring and puts it to his ear.

"How are you John?", As soon as Lara's voice is heard in his ear, a wave of happiness starts running down his face, which makes Howard smile.

"Lara, how are you?", John asked.

"I'm fine, you tell me?"

"I am fine how is my uncle?", John asked

"Fine, He also asked about you, Is everyone okay at home?"

"Yes, when are you coming back?" John asks her.

"John, I've only been here for two days," she says with a laugh.

"I know," John says, shaking his head.

Lara tells him everything about the two days except last night's scene.

"John I have a lot to tell you but not on the phone we will sit down and talk. John gets worried hearing her and asks her,

"is everything alright?"

"Yes, yes, nothing like that, don't worry, just eat your brains, as usual, Lara laughs saying this and John starts smiling at her.

"Well we'll talk later take care, Lara thinks to end the call now but John reluctantly agrees and they end the call.

"John? Why don't you tell Lara that you love her? Howard says putting chips in his mouth.

"I fall silent wondering what the outcome will be later. John says thoughtfully.

"Don't think so much, tell her, maybe she loves you too and is afraid to say in front of you like you are," Howard says watching him.

Smiling at him John tells,

"It's not all that easy as we think, there's a lot to see, the other's consent and happiness. And as for Lara, she just considers me a good friend and nothing more." There was a pain in John's voice that Howard understood.

"So will it always be like this? Howard questions him again.

"Don't know, but she is with me, close to me, that's enough for me, John answers him.

"But you love her", Howard said.

"To love does not mean to get the one who loves. John said to him with a smile on his face. After listening to his brother's words, he starts looking at him with deep thought and asks him again,

"If Lara wants someone else, will you still claim to love her?" He is surprised to hear his brother and said,

"Nothing like that, if it happened, I would know." "Is it known that she did not tell?", Howard questions him once again.

"You ask a lot, man, let's go home. Ignoring his brother's questions, he says, but in reality, he doesn't have the answers to these questions, or maybe he doesn't want to know about them.

When she returns to the hotel, she finds that her father and Ben have gone out on some business. She comes to her room and takes a shower. After a while, she comes out of the bath and grabs her mobile and notices a message from Ben which was on her mobile screen for a long time but she didn't notice it. She opens the message folder and starts reading.

"Give me one reason why you don't love me?"

After reading his message, Lara starts to write a reply but takes back her words. Thinking something, she puts her mobile aside and falls back on the bed and starts thinking.

After changing her clothes she goes to the balcony and stands there enjoying the beautiful view with a cup of tea in her hand.

While sitting on the chair on the balcony reading the book, it was evening, finally closing the book, she comes back to the room, thinking that her father has not returned yet, while they were supposed to go out for a walk this evening. As soon as she enters the room, her phone rings, she runs towards it with a happy face, thinking it must be her father's phone.

"Lara quickly gets ready and comes with Ben, I have explained to Ben were to come. Come quickly, I'm waiting for you guys." With that, her father hangs up and Lara doesn't get a chance to speak. As the call hangs up, there is a knock at the door and when Lara opens the door, Ben is standing in front of her.

"Are you ready? Ben asked her.

"where to have to go?" Lara questions him as if she doesn't understand something.

"You will know soon, just follow me quietly, your father said."

Hearing this, Lara tells him to wait and after a while, she gets ready and comes out of the room and starts walking with him.

Sitting in the car with Ben, she kept asking him, "where we were going, Where is my Dad?

Ben's only answer to her constant questions is that,

"We are having dinner tonight at a certain place."

"Which place? tell me, Lara asked again.

"Le Jules Verne", Ben said as he drove.

"Where have you guys been since morning and what is the meaning of taking me there suddenly?" Lara asked quizzically.

"Oh Miss Lara, how many questions do you ask, we were busy with the award ceremony since morning and then planned to eat out in the evening and now we are going there, how many questions do you ask? Ben explains to her.

"I was surprised when we left suddenly," Lara says looking ahead.

"You will be surprised when you and I are going alone."He says seeing her with a smile. Lara takes one look at him and starts to look out.
