Chapter 13: Training time skip Part 1

After they left, I broke the ice first.

"Look, I don't know when you will be able to go back to your world. Heck, I am not even sure if you will be able to go back to your world.

But you're going to have to move past it. As you become stronger, you might be able to go back but if you don't cooperate with us, you never will be able to. So at least work with the team and listen to me until you become strong enough."

"And when do you think that will be?" She asked, crossing her hands, while sticking her hips out a li…wait, why am I looking at her hips?

"Rank 9. By the time you reach Rank 9, you will at least have a clue." I said the highest rank possible.

Usually, that is the case. When a transmigrated main character reaches Rank 9, he is able to travel to the upper-realms and his 'old' world is usually a lower realm.

"How long will it take to reach 'Rank 9' then? A month? A year?" She continued to ask.

"I don't know. Maybe 10 years? It can even be 100…"

"100 years?! Will my family and friends even remember me at that time?" She screamed at me.

"I don't know…I don't have the answers to your questions." I wanted to say that she was over-reacting, and that she should just calm down.

But I had to think about it from her point of view as well. In another world, with a group of guys, not knowing what to do or how to go back.

"Sigh…I promise to you, the second the Headmaster becomes a Rank 5 magic knight, we will start to look for ways for you to go home." I said, calming her down a little.

Did I have any intentions of keeping my promise? No. She's stuck with me till the end of time, I am not letting what I consider to be mine out of my sights.

Akashi came back in with all the books I asked for and some Rank 2 Mana and Aura crystals as well.

"Jin, follow me. I'll teach you the basics of Aura in this world and we'll train until we reach Rank 1.

Akashi, take Hermione and reach Rank 1 mage as well. We'll meet back here to discuss what we do next." I said, as Akashi nodded and brought Hermione away.

Hopefully our resident team leader of a high-school team can calm her excessive emotions out.

"Now Jin, tell me how you guys used Aura in your world." I asked.

"Well, it is pretty basic. We would gather Aura into the body during swordsmanship training. The amount of Aura will determine the number of Stars of Aura we have."

"You can just keep the Aura in your body without a centre point?"

"Yes? Do you need a centre point? I don't remember master or the clan instructors ever saying anything about this. Hmm, if I am not wrong, at Rank 4, we have to create an Aura Heart but that is as far as my knowledge for Aura goes." He explained to which I nodded.

We both then started to read through the theory books on Aura and were able to find out a fair amount of stuff.

Firstly, for me to become a Rank 1 Knight, I need to have 100 strands of Aura in my heart.

To become a Rank 2 knight, there has to be 500 Strands of Aura, and an Aura core has to start condensing.

To become a Rank 3 Knight, there has to be an Aura core, which is the condensed form of 1000 strands of Aura.

The method of becoming a Rank 4 knight is not common knowledge, and Akashi didn't see a point of bringing it to me yet.

There were some similarities between this world's Aura and his old world.

Because of that, we decided to try something.

I first taught Jin the training method for Aura, then absorbed an Aura crystal.

Inside of a Rank 1 Aura crystal, there are 1,000 strands of Aura. Normally a person can only absorb 100 strands of Aura, since the second you start using the crystal, all the Aura starts flowing out of the crystal.

But with my new talent and crazy absorption speed I am pretty sure I can absorb way more.

I was right.

After sending in my own Aura, I started to Absorb the Aura one by one.

A method we were able to figure out, is to first bring the Aura into my body and let it stay inside of my body, then when I felt at my limit, I moved some of it to the heart and continued the process.

This way, I continued to train my body as well.

After about 1 hour, I was able to gather 200 strands of Aura, which I felt was not bad for my first time.

I did not stop there though, I immediately started to condense the Aura core.

The reason people are supposed to wait till Rank 3 is because usually people are just not talented enough in Aura manipulation to be able to sense a core with less than 1000 strands of Aura, or even make one.

But that changed for me and Jin.

After I made the core, I did not just let it sit inside of my body.

I started circulating the mass of 100 strands of Aura in my body.

As I was manipulating the core, I sent the remaining 100 of Strands of Aura into my body, making another core.

Essentially, I made 2 cores.

This was essentially assurance.

During combat, I would have more Aura, and normal times, I would stay conscious of my cores and circulate them inside of my body, constantly improving the condition of my body.

Right now, 2 cores is my limit.

In the future, as I learnt more about Aura, I will increase the number and the quality of the cores, allowing me to progress ranks much faster,

My Heart right now had a limit of 100 strands of Aura, so I had to be careful to not add more without strengthening it.

I then turned to my left, to see that Jin could already change the training ring back and forth from a sword and a ring.

Dam…this talent really makes life so much easier.

(POV Akashi)

"Right, so we have to create our own unique Mana circle. For that, we have to analyse all the parts of our body and use Arithmancy to create mana circles.

Theoretically, the longest it will take to make a Rank 1 circle without a template is 2 years, but since Magnus told me about your talent, it might take you a week at most." I explained to Hermione.

"Is there a template we can follow?" She asked, to which I nodded and took out 2 textbooks.

I could see her eyes shine at the thought of new types of magic as I continued explaining to her.

"You see, in this world, Mages take too long to chant, since they have to create Magic circles even for the most basic of spells, while chanting, so I have actually created a new format.

By tato…"

Before I could even finish, her grimoire opened up in front of her as her wand showed up from the grimoire.

She held the wand straight out and said," I summon the raging hot flames of the sun, Fireball!"

With my emperor eye, I could see in more minute details, especially since I learnt how to use Mana to amplify it. I saw the mana particles gather in her wand, amplifying the already Rank 2 amount of Mana in her body, as it became a massive fireball and shot out.

I understand that it's a Rankless spell (Rank 0), that it usually only takes rookies a day to master, but this is too insane.

Sigh…it seems like if I want to stay ahead of her, I need to work very hard. Magnus wasn't kidding when he said she's a monster.
