Chapter 119 - Dungeon Exploration 2

Seeing how the Raptor body deformed and reshaped was a sight to see. Their power grew exponentially after mutating them into a type of Xenomorph that Ryuu created. 

"What did you do to these raptors?"

Rias asked curiously what kind of magic he used.

"I haven't I already explained my power to you girls?"

He said before explaining what he did to the monsters who were loyal and had submitted themselves to him, cutting off their connection to the monarch who created them. 

"Amazing, to think such power is possible."

Erza exclaimed how terrifying of a person Ryuu was since able to manipulate and mutate any flesh he wished. He was the flesh that hates. 

Soon they continued their journey when Ryuu felt excited riding the dinosaur and planned to turn them into mutated creatures to increase their strength. Ironically, Ryuu fears birds when they're the closest descendant to Dinosaurs. 

They encounter a few more raptors letting his lover get the feel to fight the monster. It would be a shame if they didn't level up their job.

Ryuu killed the raptors by controlling the pet raptors he had since they would also gain experience and those would also affect him but only 20%. 

"It's rather hard to fight with when the terrain is like this."

Kanae commented as the raptors were doing ambush tactics due to the environment having tall grass that made it difficult to see them. Though, they could sense them didn't mean it was perfect. 

She uses her magic to manipulate the grass to pierce through the raptors feeling the sensation of experience going through her body.

"More fighting, less talking!"

Trese cried out using her dagger to slaughter the raptors that leaped towards her and quickly used her shadow to produce a place that fortunately pierced the thick hide of the raptors. 

"Go blue! Tear them to shreds! Flame bullet!"

Nezuko produced spinning bullet flames to shoot against the raptors and was fortunate to have [ Flame Mastery ] as it allowed her to control the flame and without it then the whole dungeon would set ablaze.

This shows that despite their power there are also some factors that could prevent them from going all out and should always be prepared. 

"Heal! Greater Defense! Is this what real combat feels like? I'm glad I took training seriously." 

Kie remains supporting them while fighting their enemies. She was able to easily maintain her casting without much problem and little Mana cost thanks to the [ Enchanter ] job that boosted her in those areas. 

"Hahahah this is amazing!! Come!! Fist strike!"

Justine maniacally laughs, slaughtering the monster with her weapon rather easily, constantly pushing through and leveling at a rapid pace. It wouldn't take long for them to reach a hundred. 

"They seem smarter than they look."

Rias said having trouble fighting the flying dinosaur using her [ power of Destruction ] molding them into javalines that disintegrated the enemy upon contact. 

"Indeed, but I am used to this kind of situation."

Erza said using her [ Heaven's Wheel ] armor easily slaughters them since she had more experience fighting than any of them beside Lucifer.

"They're quite amusing but that's it. They die like ants."

Lucifer said using charm to let the monster themselves to shred since she doesn't want to soil her body with their blood. Afterward, everyone got 100 levels in their jobs and finally was able to open their status. 

"It's really like a game…"( Rias )

"I can see something floating!?"( Nezuko )

"Is this the status you're talking about, Ryuu?"( Kie )

"What's Passive and Active skills?" ( Mitsuri )

"It seems Magick is different from Magic huh?"( Trese )

"Good lord! Why is my Overall power so weak?"

"I've been meaning to ask what the tier system means? I only know it means our power."( Eza)

"Quite the collection of names…interesting."

"Hold on, let me explain the tier of the overall stats."

He continued his explanation giving them a rundown of the Vs battle tier list the best they could since the list got progressively complex in the power scale. They still understood the implication of their overall capabilities in the status.

"By clicking the job, you will be able to see available jobs and try to choose what you think will benefit you most."

They nodded as Ryuu did the same using a split mind to choose for him while he assisted his lover in picking their first jobs.

[ Job available: - Ronin, Demon slayer, Blood mage, Bone Mage, Disease user, Surgeon. ]

'There's quite a lot for a job first, hmmm. I should go with Disease mage to help my [ Blacklight virus ].'

Normally, you would need a Job change room to select new jobs but now the chat group system allows it without using one.

[ You have acquired Diseases Binder ]

[ All stats Level up ] 

Ryuu smirked upon seeing the binder skill considering it would allow him to bring his creature with him or anyone infected by his own disease without absorbing them directly as a biomass. After a while his lover and group chose their first job. 

"I selected Poison Mage since I think it will help me control my poison. I've also gain [ Mana Control skill ]"

"Mines, Fairy Mage, I also gained that skill!"

"We seem to share the same new skill, I chose Flower mage."

"I didn't get a new skill but I grew stronger. I selected Enchanter."

"Mines Flame master!"

"I obviously choose Unarmed Fighter."

"Unsure if I choose correctly but I selected Darkness user and gained Shadow Binder skills." 

"Oh it will allow you to save shadow creatures into your shadow or even your allies."

Ryuu explains since it would be a useful skill especially once she is able to drag people into shadow and take it to her advantage. It's ironic that she will likely be a shadow monarch because of her ability.

"I picked Magic knight as my first job. It seems this status helps me gain insight in how to properly utilize my magic and skills."

Erza said having grown stronger with her magic usage lessened and controlled grown better than before. She at least is getting closer to becoming a Wizard saint at this rate. 

'She didn't have any apprentice job as expected.'

Ryuu thought that normally when a job is introduced it would start from apprentice jobs since they are still inexperienced but Erza is already an adept fighter making an apprentice job redundant. 

"Mine is Destruction user."

Rias said testing her own power that grew even before and could have taken longer if she didn't have the system. It wasn't a massive boost but the input needed and control had lessened allowing her to control her power more precisely than before. She believes that at this rate her power might reach the same level as her brother. 

"How nostalgic, the Lightbringer is my first job."

Lucifer said uncarrying whatever bonus she'll obtain since it was all pointless in her eyes.

"Anyway, let's continue our journey."

They all nodded and went deeper into the dungeon and encountered large crocodiles that Ryuu happily added to his hive mind and saw how they rank up with his influences. He hoped to gain [ Guider ] a job that could influence and strengthen any followers.

"I can't wait how Onii-chan is going to react!" ( Nezuko)

"He would likely faint…"( Justine )

Nezuko was on top of one of the enormous crocodiles taking a liking to it as well. Everyone couldn't help but sweatdrop at her riding it.

"Roaar!"

The raptor roared in jealousy seeing Nezuko ride someone else making her look at it.

"No need to worry, blue! You'll always be my favorite!"

She jumped down and rode blue who became happy flexing on the crocodile who ignored him. 

"Anyway, how did you make them disappear?"

Trese asked after witnessing Ryuu absorb the Raptors and it was completely different than how he absorbed flesh. 

"It's from the binder skills. You also have one then try extracting shadow from a defeated corpse."

"I can do that?"

"Can't hurt to try? Your magic reminds me of the shadow monarch. Try saying [ arise ] later."

"Shadow monarch? Isn't that the job of the main character of this world"

Trese remarked seeing their power being similar but she isn't limited by one creature and can extract anyone as long they have soul. 

"That would be just a really broken power."

Justine muttered imagining a world full of shadows. 

"Says the girl who grows strong every passing moment."

Trese heard her glancing at the tomboy who just shrugged it off.
