Chapter 128 - Secret

Ryuu could see that Cha Hae-in was in an inner turmoil. He was not ready to reveal everything to her since it had only been a few days since they knew each other.

It is arguable with Go Gun-Hee but Ryuu sought that he was someone who was prepared to accept the truth while Cha Hae-in needed to take things slow. He can't just reveal that her effort is futile against an entity capable of turning the whole continent into rubble.

"I-I'm fine. It's just that I've never seen new hunters fight like this. Are you certain that all of you just registered?"

Cha Hae-in did some research and found that most didn't have a record of being hunters. If they did then it is possible they were unofficial hunters who just joined raids as porters, but even that doesn't explain their skill.

"Actually, I've been thinking about it but do you wish to join my guild or at least an unofficial member?"

Ryuu wanted to help her get stronger knowing that he can't let her go because of the [ Essence of Harem protagonist] that once it triggered and forming a mutual connection with someone would be impossible to severe.

Cha Hae-In was a bit surprised by the offer and was curious what makes them different from the top guild.

"Yeah, you should join us! We have a lot to offer and even possibly make you stronger."

Kanae said, trying to convince her to join, not their guild, but Ryuu's harem. She finds her entertaining and fine addition to her teasing target.

"What would happen if I joined you unofficially?"

Cha Hae-In doesn't want to just leave her contract just like that with people that were a stranger to her.

"Nothing much beside keeping the secret of whatever we tell you."

Ryuu will not tell her about the monarch but at least he can give her the [ Job System ] and teach how to use [ Earthland ] magic. He doesn't do this to people he is not aware of their character and with his overpowered [ Intuition ] innate skill made it impossible to trick him.

Before he had the system then it was possible but now it's different. He may not be able to increase the level and remaining whatever tier it is, still gave him an edge.

However, he can't rely on it too heavily since at times there is a situation where it puts him in danger because it is the best scenario. Not to mention, Ryuu can just use [ Hypnosis ] if she suddenly backs out.

Meanwhile, Cha Hae-in began to consider his offer feeling something at the back of her head telling her to accept it. She could guess that their secret is something that could be a disaster and yet they are willing to give an offer to her.

"...what are you offering me?"

Cha Hae-in at least wanted to know more about his proposition before what action that she'll take. She then saw Ryuu smile then her body tense when she saw something floating before her eyes.

[ Do you wish to accept "Job System" ]

[ Yes/No ]

She jaw dropped rubbing her eye's looking at the panel screen then looked at Ryuu who was nodding.

"W-What is this!?"

Cha Hae-in couldn't believe her eyes that she was looking at something out of a game.

"It's a system that offers you a way to get stronger by killing monsters."

Ryuu further explained the bonuses that the system provided, letting Cha Hae-In understand why they are so powerful despite the quantity of their mana that makes up for their control guided by the system.

"Speaking off, we have already reached 100 Levels. What do you think I should choose?"

Rias asked since she wanted to gain the most in her job. The reason for this is explained by Ryuu as certain jobs don't just need to kill monsters to gain experience but actually find a way to improve themselves making it hard to reach the level cap.

The more common the job is, the easier it is to level up while the rarer it is then the other it is. Furthermore, if a job like blacksmith is taken then they don't need to kill that much and focus more on creating since it is their job requirements.

"Just take what you feel like. Anyway, what do you think, miss Cha?"

Cha Hae-in just took the time to process the information having learned that they actually were leveling up before they registered and reaching level of an A and S Rank. But such ranking doesn't even need to be applied to them as they just surpass it.

"I'll try to talk with Guildmaster Choi about it. I swear that I won't share the information you've given me."

"It's fine but feel free to accept since it would be great help if you can grow alongside us. Also don't ask if we will share with anyone else because I can't trust everyone."

"Then why did you choose me?"

Cha Hae-in didn't do anything noteworthy to be given such privilege and she barely knew him.

"Cause I'm interested in you."

Ryuu bluntly said, winking at her, causing Cha Hae-In to blush while the other girls giggled.

"What should we do now? Ryuu is going to have more and more at this point."

Kanae touched the side of her face pretending to feel worried but in truth she just wanted the best for her man.

"Then more sister!"

Nezuko added puffing her chest not minding it since she has more people to be friends with.

"It's not like we can control him at this point."

Alex said looking at her partner having gotten over the fact that their relationship is a strange one.

"I do like Miss Cha joining us. She reminds me of myself."

Mitsuri said, joining their conversation.

"Not to mention, we should believe in Ryuu control. He won't just take random women without reason."

Kie added since Ryuu doesn't aim to have every woman just because they look pretty. He has standard but no limits.

"You could say that he can't keep in his pants."

Shinobu giggled before they started deciding on what Job they should select.

Meanwhile, Rias feels jealous that Ryuu was making moves on someone when he hadn't done it with her.

'Should I act more boldly?"

"You should."

Rias got from her inner turmoil turning her attention to Justine.

"You should know that I hated your character in the story. You were spoiled and manipulative as well as naive despite how you show yourself.

The heiress felt hurt from her words and didn't blame some random person writing her life because it wouldn't do any good. She accepted her flaws and took criticism rather than ignoring them. She didn't refute Justine's words because it was the truth. Rias downcast feeling ashamed of her former self.

"But, you are trying to better yourself. I can't hate you now because of it. As long as you don't be a bratty woman then I don't mind you taking action with Ryuu."

Rias looked at her feeling Justine tapped her shoulder as she walked towards the other girls giving the heiress time to think.

"How about you? Are you interested in Ryuu, now?"

Lucifer glanced at Erza asking for her opinion since she knew that the scarlet woman was interested in Ryuu.

"I am but I don't know if it's romantic. I do want to repay his kindness which is why I'm unsure how I feel."

"I will never understand human romances."

Erza just went to join the others while Lucifer shook her head.

"Interested in me!? How can you say something like that when you already have 7 women!?"

Cha Hae-In tried to think logically rather emotionally despite her heart pounding from his words. It's unbelievable that it's only been only a week since he met him and she is already affected by his charm.

"At this point, I don't think they mind. Anyway, why don't we have a date first and get to know each other?"

Ryuu suggested looking at the S rank Huntress who was blushing trying to calm herself.

"...S-Sure, A-Alright."

"Great, let's get going then. I have a feeling something is off."

He glanced at the direction that was telling him something was about to happen once they checked it out.
