Chapter 315 - Prophecy

The next day after Ryuu captured and began reforming the Vatican.

After meeting Ryuu, Zeus and his brother immediately went and called every god they had that was available to inform them in regards to someone who offered a peace treaty and acted as mediator between all factions. He was troubled by many problems and one of them was his son, Ares, who was not pleased by the news but he warned him and hoped he wouldn't anger their guest when they decided to meet.

He inwardly sigh at the time seeing their reaction, some had neutral stand while others were eager to meet and judge the person in question. It made them feel troubled that the individual was in a relationship with their ancestor and gave some more thoughts to it. There are some gods who weren't present as they prefered to be in their domain like Styx.

"What do you think this person would be like?" A playful voice was heard from a woman with an amazing figure wearing clothes that hang onto her body showing some skin and perfectly accentuating her erotic shape. She had the demeanor of someone who would often tease and flirt with anyone she found attractive. Her hair was like caramel red that had the other side being yellow.

"Aphrodite….if you're going to annoy me then go and flirt with someone else." Spoken by an elegant and beautiful woman that was a type to be stern and strict yet kind and wise. She has a lean, curvy body, a delicate face and full lips having long violet hair wearing Greek woman clothes that had golden metallic pieces.

These two are the Greek goddess, Athena, Goddess of wisdom and war while the other is Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Beauty. The latter merely pouted and said.

"That's too boring, let me come with you. Where are you going anyway?"

"It's none of your business. As for your question, I think it is too early to judge when we hardly have an idea what kind of person and group the Henosis Sarkist randomly shows up. It isn't wise to hastily act and take action when we hardly know what we're dealing with."

"Always thinking ahead huh?"

"I'm the Goddess of Wisdom. If I don't act the way I do then my existence is pointless. That aside, are you going to leave me now?"

"Nope! I'm going to follow you and see what you're going to do today. Ares has been neglecting me and my husband doesn't pay attention to me, always thinking about his work. I don't know why Zeus betrothed me with such a person. I don't mind his looks but if he is going- hey wait! Where are you going!"

While Aphrodite was talking, Athena began to leave, making the former chase after her and said.

"What gives!?"

"I left because you began venting about Hephaestus again. You know why he does what he does."

"Hmph! You will never know what I feel. That's why you're still-gah!"

Athena tried to strike her with the spear that she manifested while Aphrodite easily dodge it and yelled out.

"What in the tartarus did you do that for!!"

"You were going to say the same thing you did last few centuries! And because of what you did, the trojan war happened!"

"Come on, it was Eris was behind it! Not to mention, it's all in the past."

"Tch. Fine, I'm going to find Artemis. I've received a prophecy from the morai in regard to this person and said that I'll meet such a person after a specific day and time."

Athena could still recall vividly at how they told her about a man of flesh and the Scion of everything who shall unify their fate and help them ascend to a higher plane.

"They said 'He is infallible and unfathomable to our own meager mind. His evil incarnate and loathes his existence. Upon meeting this person you shall see a new path laid before us.' I don't know how Morai thinks but it could be literal or not. They mention you coming with me which only confirms the possibility of meeting him along with Artemis."

"Oh!? Why did you keep pushing me when you know you'll end up coming with you!?"

"You're too childish and I don't know how it will go. My intuition is telling me that something bad is about to happen and you're useless in combat."

"Nonsense! My beauty can easily sway my enemy to fight for me."

"Coward. Regardless, I'll bring you along but make sure to do as I say!"

"Okie dokey, Minerva."

"Tch."

Athena sighs knowing that it will not be easily seeing how Aphrodite was too relaxed knowing they might face some conflict upon meeting the person. She had a lot of time thinking and couldn't predict how her encounter with this person would go. As the Goddess of wisdom it would be easy for her to formulate a plan that precisely goes as she wants but she was going blank meaning the person would be immensely powerful that she can't intuitively guess their character.

The information provided by her father shows that he was a calm and kind man who was easy to approach but she couldn't take it to heart and believe such a person doesn't have any hidden intentions.

Despite the goddess of war does not mean she was the type to desire death and onslaught rather it was a more civilized kind of war including tactics and would prefer peace. Her brother would be the type that fits how people view war and that makes him stronger than her. Though, this meant he was less intelligent than her.

She summoned a spear and pointed it in front of them before a portal formed and stepped inside as the two only for them to stop as the portal didn't let them get through, shocking Athena while Aphrodite whined.

"Gaaah! Did you do that on purpose! I think my nose just broke."

"Stop whining, something is wrong! Someone sealed the space around the Artemis domain!!"

Athena yelled out as she tried to think what she should do and realized most if not all of the Olympian gods were gone and busy in their domain. She also got warned by the morai to not tell beside those who they mentioned or something worse would happen.

"Dammit!! Aphrodite, get ready! We need to help Artemis with whatever is going on!"

She flared up her divinity and suit up shrouding herself with golden armor wielding a shield and long spear while Aphrodite stopped whining and took it seriously for once knowing that something is wrong.

Despite her divinity, she isn't one to be underestimated having the power of the Ouranos since she came from his family jewels. She was close to Zeus in terms of power but below in skill in using it. She isn't combat oriented which is why she's weaker but Aphrodite isn't one to be underestimated.

"What are we waiting for! Let's go help, our dear Artemis."

Athena nodded, creating a portal that was near the edge of the barrier and stepped out to see a vast barrier and realized what kind of power it was. The entire area had mist like darkness enveloped at several kilometers around the size of a small to large city.

"This is…a sacred gear, Dimension Lost!"

One of the most powerful Sacred Gear that rules over space and barriers. That story said that even chief gods like Odin are unable to break it.

"I don't think I can break this…."

"Using my connection to Ouranos will give you enough power to break through."

"But that would leave you exhausted and I would have a hard time protecting you. Not to mention, it would be hard for us to escape after that."

"Then why don't we call, Zeus?"

"No, we can't tempt fate as the Morai warn me to not tell anyone beside the one they mention which is you."

Athena felt helpless looking at the barrier while Aphrodite was troubled that she couldn't help.

"It's fine, we can't wait any longer and let Artemis face whoever casts this barrier. Just use my power and be done with it."

"Are you sure about this?"

"What option do we have?"

Aphrodite shouted looking sternly at Athena who was surprised by her expression and nodded and said.

"Alright, fine, but don't try to fight them. Once we get Artemis then we will escape as soon as possible."

"I know, I'm careless but not stupid."

Athena wanted to refute but didn't have time and Aphrodite began to pray as she took deep breath before flaring an immensely powerful energy pouring into Athena felt the overwhelming power that had the essence of the first sky father and gripped her spear as she used her power as the goddess of war to crack the barrier sending a powerful explosion that formed a crack and behind her, splitting the mountain vertically and smoke covered the entire area.

Aphrodite was panting trying to compose herself while Athena quickly caught her and helped the goddess of beauty to remain standing as they stared at the barrier only for their faces to fall into despair as it only had a small crack that quickly repaired itself

"What!! How did it only sustain a small crack!? Impossible!!"

Athena roared in anger while Aphrodite was anxious wondering how Artemis was doing inside while the two was despairing at the result of their futile action was when they suddenly felt a presence turning their attention to a person who just arrived.

"Oh my, guess walking in the woods would often lead to meeting a beautiful goddess."

They saw a young man with long black hair that was bleaker than starless sky and gaze sharper than any blade. His eyes had a red outline pupil with an inner outline circle for an iris. Aphrodite felt her heart pounding looking at him as if being enticed by his presence alone while Athena helpless and defeated when the thought of fighting such a person yet felt hope as well and instinctively realized this was a person that was described by her father.

"W-Who are you and what purpose do you have in being here?"

Athena demanded to try to act tough, pointing her spear that still had a small power of Ouranos that can easily harm a chief god while the young man just nervously laughed and said.

"No need to be hasty. You can call me Adam Kadmon and my reason for being here is to capture the rogue Hero. Well, let's talk later for now."

'Adam' summoned a sword that looked like a normal double edged sword that had a reddish outline and stabbed it into the barrier as if it was shocking the two who almost gave their all yet couldn't even pierce it yet his sword did. The mist pushed creating a large opening that was enough for them to get inside.

"Let's go. Time is in the essence. "

Athena was unsure if they should trust him but they didn't have any option and decided to put her trust in fate while she noticed Aphrodite was acting strange as if she was a maiden stricken by love at first sight.

'That's new but whatever.' She thought to herself then felt her strength was restored and watched as 'Adam' did something and said.

"I restore your powers since you're gonna need it. Now then, let's go ladies."

================

Few minutes ago

A young woman with round blue eyes and long white hair, with the bottom of her hair attached to a large circular ornament. She wears a long white dress with a red tip at the bottom, a silver necklace, and a pair of sandals. Her whole demeanor was cold like the breezy wind of the night were shimmering starlight and illuminating moonlight cast upon the world. There she had a large ornament on her back around the tailbone and wielded a large bow as she was hunting a deer.

"Who goes there!?"

She shouted and pointed a bow somewhere pulling the string conjuring an energy arrow capable of piercing virtually anything. The young woman saw a handsome young man that had a certain charm to him and an arrogant air.

"Don't shoot, it's me, Orio-"

"I know who you are, a person who held the soul of the man who once tried to defile me! How dare you show yourself to me! What kind of fool are you? Perhaps the recurring theme for a man."

She scornly said hiding a painful memory as the woman was none other than one of the few virgin Goddesses, Artemis, the goddess of the moon and hunting. The young man before her held the soul of the man that caused her hatred for a man trying to cope and never be hurt like how he did.

Artemis can't deny she once loved her like a fool she was and did everything that he wanted and fallen for his skill in archery and hunting yet he grew arrogant and hubris that eventually tried to defile Artemis when she refused only been saved by her brother who incinerated him and from that point on vowed never be the same foolish girl.

Though, the nightmare and thought run through her mind trying to control her anger seeing the opportunity before her.

"You were lucky that my brother didn't destroy your soul but it at least gave me the chance to kill you myself."

She pulled harder and shot the arrow towards him without any hesitation only for a mist to block, shocking her then was sent back to her causing her eyes to widen and send flying into the trees.

"Gaaah! H-How did you!?"

Orion moved closer laughing hysterically and gave a mocking smile looking down at Artemis and said.

"Do you think I didn't come here prepared? I was here to offer a place by my side once I cleanse this world of the other faction."

Artemis was speechless hearing his nonsense and said.

"W-What nonsense are you spouting!?"

Orion smiled looking at her and said.

"Me and the group I've joined seek to destroy every faction but I don't want my beloved Artemis to die because you belong to me and no one."

He said while Artemis sensed people arrived and saw that everyone was immensely strong and noticed three individuals that she knew.

"Heracle!? Kronos!? Hyperion!? How did you two escape Tartarus!? Did Tartarus betray us!?"

She was speechless looking at an old man with a large scythe emanating an immense power that surpasses Zeus itself while another was an armor that was pure light for a body.

"Hahahaha you think Tartarus can keep up locked in the abyss!? No one can stop time!"

"Do not fret, we will make this quick."

Artemis click her tongue and flared her power summoning beast construct that began fighting the enemy as she easily distanced herself and rapidly shot an arrow as her enemy dodged as she screamed.

"Don't think I'll be an easy hunt!!"
