Damn You. Yuri!

"My lady, please stay still."  Livia, who was trying so hard to help tend to her wound,  had a grimace form on her face as a result of Yennefer who pushed her away.

"Get out!"

She ordered, but Livia and Masha stood staring at her, causing her anger to rise.

"I said, GET OUT!!" She shouted at them with her eyes which had suddenly turned completely yellowish, burning.

Livia and Masha's hearts rose and fell in fear now realizing how serious she was, so they quickly rushed out of the chamber.

Yennefer breathed heavily and once the guards shut the door, she plopped down into the bed and cuddled tightly with herself.

Somehow for some reason, she can't tell, she suddenly remembers her past life, How horrible and miserable she was.

She tightly shut her eyes and shook her head to shake away the thoughts, but someone's deep voice suddenly rang in her ears, causing her to quickly turn around.

Her eyes fell on none other than Luthiel and they stared at each other, not uttering a single word.

"Sit up." He ordered her and his emerald green eyes, which were gazing at her, shifted away.

"How did you get in here?" She quickly asked while sitting up on the bed, but Luthiel ignored her and pulled out what looked like a small bottle from the pocket of his jacket.

"What is that?" She asked, but just like before, he ignored her and went down on his knees.

Yennefer stared at him, unsure of what he was trying to do.

"Give me your arm and stay still." He said to her and still confused, Yennefer slowly reached out her arm to him, which he grabbed and lifted the hem of her night dress.

"Stay still." He reminded her, and as gently as he could, he began to apply what seemed to be an ointment to her wound, which would help it heal.

"Wh-what are you doing?" Yennefer, who did not expect that at all, quickly snatched her arm back, which in turn caused an annoyed expression to emerge on Luthiel's face.

"I said keep still!" He scowled at her and grabbed her arm again.

"Don't think that I am feeling sorry for you. Even if you died, I wouldn't care. I am only here under the command of the emperor because he has put you under me, meaning that you are my responsibility."

"Tomorrow, you begin your training, and I do not like lazy people, so be in your best shape."

He covered the ointment once he was done and stood up from the floor.

He turned around and under Yennefer's gaze, he proceeded to leave the room, however, before he reached the door, he abruptly stopped and took a deep breath.

"Why didn't you see it?" He suddenly inquired, and Yennefer, who didn't understand what his question meant, looked at him in confusion.

"What... do you mean?" She asked, and he slowly turned around to look at her with his head tilted to one side.

"Earlier, while you were fighting with her, why didn't you notice the thread immediately?" He explained, and Yernnefer furrowed her brows at him.

"I don't know. I just didn't see it." She replied, and he raised his brow at her.

"Hmm, if I am correct, you're a fourth-grade sorcerer while she is a fifth-grade sorcerer."

"You are stronger than her in everything, so... why didn't you see it?" He pried, and now annoyed by his questioning, Yennefer shifted her gaze at him.

She glared at him and scoffed in irritation. "I told you, I do not know. Leave me alone!"

She scowled, and with an apathetic expression on his face, Luthiel folded his arms.

"Do you know what she is?"

He continued with his questioning, and now completely irked to the bones, Yennefer stood up from the bed and stormed towards him.

She reached out her hands to push him out of the chamber, but he, however, gripped her wrist and vehemently narrowed his eyes at her.

"Rule 1: Don't ever let your hands touch me. It gets on my nerves and for that, you may end up getting hurt."

"Rule 2: If it's doable, don't get too close to me no matter what, but... if you do end up doing that, I can ignore that."

"Rule 3: during any of the training, don't you dare vomit on me. I have experienced that and I do not want to again. If you do... I will kill you."

"Rule 4: This is a very important one, and I need you to always have it in mind. I hate women that talk too much, so try your best to keep quiet when you are around me."

He listed, and Yennefer, who still couldn't believe that he was actually saying those things to her, gazed at him with her jaw dropped.

"I think you're the one who should try to stay quiet around me!"

She glared, and definitely not expecting those words from her, Luthiel's eyes widened a bit in shock.

A deep frown settled in between his brows, and as much as he wanted to grab her by the neck and slam her into the wall, he quickly shook those thoughts off and let out a soft breath.

"Back to what I asked you. Do you know what she is? "

He questioned, and although reluctant to answer him, she eventually did.

"No…I don't."

She replied, and he nodded his head at her.

"I see. Tomorrow, while we train, I will explain to you."

He said, and before Yennefer could utter a word, he turned around and walked out of the chamber.

The guards shut the door, and with a low breath exiting her nose, she turned around and strolled back to the bed.

She really has to find a way to get out of this situation.

This is not all the new life she expected to have.

It's as if she went from a pan into the fire.

A deep sigh fled her nose, and she pushed the pillow against her face and screamed loudly into it.

"Damn you, Yuri!"
