Yennefer, who had been unconscious for almost twelve hours, awoke from her sleep early the next morning.
She blinked her eyes open and rubbed her forehead, which was unbelievably aching badly.
"Ah, good morning, my lady. You are finally awake." Livia who was seated by her bedside with a concerned look on her face greeted, and suprised to see her there, Yennefer blinked her eyes at her.
"What... are you doing here? Did you look after me all night?" She inquired in disbelief, and Livia smiled gently at her.
"I had to, my lady. Your condition wasn't so good last night, and you seemed to be having a very bad nightmare. You cried a lot."
She explained, and confused, Yennefer furrowed her brows at her.
"What do you mean by "I was crying a lot?" I didn't have a nightmare. I mean, I can't even remember dreaming of anything."
She said, and Livia fluttered her eyes in a bit of confusion.
"Believe me, my lady. I wouldn't lie to you as I would gain nothing from that. Maybe you just don't remember the nightmare. That is probably it."
She explained to her, and Yennefer pinched between her brows.
"I see-" She nodded her head and looked around the room. "-Ehh... where is Masha?" She inquired, and a light smile appeared on Livia's face.
"Well, she had somethings to attend to, so I had to stay back and look after you."
She clarified, and Yennfer nodded before stepping down from the bed.
"Who... brought me back? I fainted during the-"
"General Luthiel did." Livia replied before she could finish her words, and Yennfer instantly stopped.
If she remembered correctly, she did vomit on him yesterday, even though he had warned her about it.
"Shit!" She cursed and bit her lower lip with a grimace on her face.
"Did he...look sort of mad when he brought me back?" She inquired, and Livia stroked her jaw in thought before proceeding to reply.
"Hmm, I honestly can't tell. He had this serious look that he always had on his face, so..." Livia shook her head.
"I think I am dead." Yennefer abruptly said, and Livia instantly drew her head back in confusion.
"Eh... why do you think so?" She asked, and a sad breath fled Yennefer's nose.
"Well, he did warn me before training that I should never vomit on him, else he would kill me, but... I actually did vomit on him yesterday, so... He's going to-"
"He would definitely kill you if he said that to you." Livia quickly clutched her heart in fear and Yennefer, who was now the confused one, blinked her eyes at her.
"Why... do you say so?" She inquired, and Livia quickly grabbed her hands.
"He's a very heartless man, my lady. He kills without a second thought, which is why no one wants to offend him, not even the crown prince himself."
"But ehhh, they are friends, so I don't think that's why the crown prince doesn't want to offend him, but!! You must apologize to him before he says anything to you, alright?"
"That may save you." She said to her, and Yennefer slowly nodded her head before snatching her hands back.
"I see. No worries, I know what to do." She beamed and walked into the bathroom to receive her bath.

Fully dressed in his new general attire, Luthiel walked out of his chamber.
He took a long deep breath and proceeded downstairs to the training ground, where he halted immediately on seeing Yennefer standing in the track line with a wide, cringey smile on her face.
'Why is she smiling like that?' He asked himself with perplexity visible on his face and became even more bewildered when Yennefer hurried towards him and stood in front of him.
She placed her arms behind her back and continued to smile at him without saying a word.
Luthiel darted his eyes around in puzzlement, and when he couldn't take it anymore, a deep frown settled in between his brows.
"Why the hell are you smiling like a creepy old lady?" He questioned, and before she could give him a reply, he pushed her out of the way and walked towards the track line.
"You—" Yennefer quickly hurried after him, and once she arrived at the track line, she stood beside him.
"Hey-" She hadn't even begin her sentence when Luthiel began to count down.
"5-4-3-2…1!!"
He sprinted off immedjately, leaving Yennfer, who was caught off guard by his behavior.
"Hey! Wait for me!" She screamed at him, and knowing very well that he wouldn't stop, she ran off as well, pushing past her limit to catch up to him.
"Please have some fucking pity on me and stop running this fast. I am not so great at running like you are."
She shouted at him the moment she caught up to him, and Luthiel turned his head to look at her.
"Maybe instead of complaining, try running like I do."
He glared at her and looked away from her.
Yennefer instantly went quiet and, with a gloomy expression emerging on her face, she started running at the normal pace she could run at, no longer bothering to chase up to him.
Luthiel turned his head to look at her, a bit confused as to why she suddenly went quiet with that pessimistic expression on her face.
The urge to ask what was wrong hit him all of a sudden, but knowing he wasn't the type to do that, he quickly shook his head and continued running, completely ignoring her.
The run finally came to a stop once he reached the track, and with a soft breath exiting his nose, he turned around to look at Yennfer, who had almost made it to the end.
He waited for a few seconds, almost a minute, before Yennefer made it to the end.
She took deep breaths and once she had gotten her breathing under control, she raised her head to look at Luthiel, who was gazing at her.
"Listen!" she immediately cut Luthiel off before he could say a word and bit her lower lip.
"I know that you did warn me about vomiting on you, but it was not my fault, because it's not something I can control."
"What I am trying to say is that I don't have any excuses, so I am sorry for vomiting on you. And thank you very much for taking me back."
"Now that I have apologized, can you stop being mean to me?"
She inquired, and now deeply baffled, Luthiel stared at her, unable to utter a word.
Was she looking sad because she thought he was being mean to her, concerning what happened yesterday?
He thought and became even more confused.
But he didn't even say anything about it to her.
I mean, even he didn't think about it.
If he was angry about it, he would have probably hurt her or something, since he gave her a warning, but surprisingly enough, he wasn't even mad at all.
Maybe a little bit, but not to the point of being mean to her.
"What makes you think...that I was being mean to you? I didn't hurt you, did I?"
