10. High Class Friend

"Javin, you're daydreaming!"  cried August angrily.  He threw a tissue ball at Javin. "See! You haven't even written anything since earlier."

Javin looked at his book, then looked at August guiltily. "I'm sorry Gust. I was thinking about my car."

"Didn't you say your car has been taken to the repair shop?"

"Yeah, but how do I pay for it? I don't even know what the car took apart and put in."

"Why not ask Phi Kwan?"

"I'm... embarrassed. He'll probably think I'm being talkative and not believe him."

"Didn't Phi Kwan say the repair shop belongs to Phi Forth's brother? Try asking him then."

Javin groaned softly and put his head on the table then covered it with a book. He hoped August would not see that his face felt hot and the color must have been rosy by now.

- Flashback -

Javin gasped, when he felt Forth's lips against his. The smell of cinnamon and mint interfered with the air that Javin inhaled, when Forth's lips slowly moved softly to taste his lips, sucked the corners of his lips gently and fondled his tongue which was pulled gently by Forth's tongue which entered his mouth when Javin took a breath.

The kiss was slow, gentle, and very intimate, making all the hairs on Javin's body tingle. Forth caressed his jaw and shoulders and after a few minutes, before they both ran out of breath, Forth broke the kiss.

He stared at Javin who was panting with his face as red as a tomato. Forth pressed his forehead against Javin's.  "I'm sorry," Forth whispered. "I can't help myself."

Javin swallowed hard. "N-it's okay, Phi."

Forth sighed and rubbed Javin's now slightly swollen lips.  "You had a bad dream."

Javin nodded shyly.  "Yes, Phi. Sorry that I overslept."

"It's okay. You must be too tired. Would you like to stay here? You can come back tomorrow morning."

"I ... no, Phi, I better go home. I have to study tonight because I have a quiz tomorrow," Javin said awkwardly.  His sitting position was almost on Forth's lap and now he felt uncomfortable.

Forth seemed to realize Javin's feelings, so he stood up. "Fine, if you don't want to stay. Let me take you home now."

"Eumm ... Phi, I can just take a taxi. I don't want to bother you any more."

Forth walked to the door and put on his jacket hanging from the caps on the side of the door.  He also grabbed the car keys from the table in the hallway.  "Come on. I'll take you."

Javin had no other choice but to obey and sit quietly in the luxury car that Forth had pulled out of the garage.  They traveled for twenty minutes in silence and Javin was very sad.

"I have to be back soon" Forth said before Javin got out of his car.

"Yes, Phi, thanks for driving me and cooking me a delicious meal. I'm sorry to have troubled you."

Forth smiled and stroked Javin's hair.  "It's okay, I'm happy to do it. Well, study hard and take care of your health."

Javin got out of the car and watched Forth make a turn and disappear into the dark night. Forth didn't speak the whole way and he didn't stop by at all either.

Javin felt the kiss was a big mistake because it made the situation between them awkward. He turned and walked into the mini market, his eyes burning hot.

- Flashback End-

"What happened with him?"  asked Leon who suddenly appeared and stood on the side of the table where Javin and August were doing their assignments.  "Sleepy?"

Javin pulled the book from his head and looked up at Leon. "My baby is sick and I don't know how to get him back."

Leon's brows furrowed as he sat down next to August. "Your baby?"

"The car," said Augustus. "That old white baby means."

Leon nodded.  "Broke again? Which workshop did you take him to?"

Javin shrugged. "I don't know. Phi Kwan brought it and I didn't dare ask. It's been two days since my baby left."

"So, just ask him," Leon said.

"I don't know his number," Javin replied.

"He's a friend of your Phi Forth, right? Ask him."

"I don't know Phi Forth's phone number either," Javin replied in a small voice.

Leon scratched his head. He opened his laptop and wrote Forth's name on the search page. "What's his last name?"

"Umm, if I remember correctly ... who was it, I heard Phi Kwan mention it. Vachiravit? Praviravit?"

"We just enter everything, later it will be recorded automatically," said Leon.

August watched as Leon typed in Forth Vachiravit's name and he was astonished that a search page opened for several articles.

"Why?"  asked Javin confused. "You guys found anything?"

"Jav, your Phi Forth is something," August said.

"Stop calling him that. He is not my Phi Forth." Javin snapped sharply. He still sad about the kissed and the behaviour Forth did two days ago.

August shifted Leon's laptop towards Javin so he could see. Javin stared at the laptop screen and his mouth opened wider and wider. He opened an article and pointed at the photo featured in the article.  "This is ...."

"Ye, yes, he is. Here, read it!" said August enthusiastically. "Forth Kevien Vachiravit and Wine Javier Vachiravit, two of the most handsome bachelors among socialites and tycoons, future heirs to the Vachiravit business empire."

"Look at the Vachiravit family fortune list," Leon pointed at a chart in the article. "They are the third richest noble family in our country. Uh, I don't even know how to spell these numbers."

"This is data taken ten years ago, Leon and this is an article from three years ago," said August amazed. "Its been multiply right now."

"Javin, do you realize who you've been friends with all this time?"

Javin looked at the article on the laptop screen with a feeling of uneasiness. Forth doesn't look like he's been photographed much, as his handsome face is strained and displeased, in contrast to his older brother--Wine, who is grinning broadly at the camera and one other person standing next to him.

However, it was clear that it was Forth who often came at night to the convenience store to eat Javin's ramen, drink convenience store-standard americano, and buy expensive sushi and sashimi packages for him and his two best friends as they helped him choose the menu.

It was also Forth who had cooked dinner for him and then ... kissed him passionately.

Javin felt his cheeks heat up. Oh God, what has he done? He even responded to Forth's kiss with a small moan and opened his mouth at that moment.

What was on Forth's mind after that? Did he think that Javin was an easy person, accepting and responding to his kisses just because of his previous serving of fettuccine and salmon steak?

Forth's level definitely don't need to look for anyone they can turn as entertainment material, because it's certain that many people will voluntarily give themselves up just because Forth accidentally glances or smiles at them.

However, Javin is not like that. He was ashamed of Forth's kindness and felt embarrassed for fear of trouble. He knew Forth wasn't an ordinary person, but he didn't know his reputation was so big.

Maybe that's why Forth kept his distance after the kiss and he didn't even come to the mini market in two days. Forth might think that Javin is easy.

Javin tidied up his books and put them in his bag, then stood up.

"Hey, Jav, where are you going?" asked Leon in surprise.

"Drown myself in the fountain in front of the rectorate," said Javin wearily, as he got up.

August and Leon looked at each other questioningly.

Javin was just passing through the lobby door of the faculty building when a voice called out to him.

"Nong Javin, hey!"

Javin turned his head and saw a man sitting behind the wheel of a rubicon. The man waved to Javin excitedly.

Javin was taken aback. Oh, God!
