Chap 11- KOBOFRIENDO!!!

"Eh? Wut?"

A cute sound, like almost all things she does, leaves a certain empty head wave smoll girl.

She was standing in front of the one who takes care of her, whowas with but arms crossed, staring seriously downward at the short girl, she just heard something that made even her take a double spit take.

" Anoo... Saitamachi... Can ya repeat dat?"- She was clueless at what was the black-haired man even meant.

So scratching the side of her face as she just looked up was enough to make the adult man sigh before doing as she asked, so raising one finger he starts speaking.

" Kobo.... listen closely this time okay?*sigh* Now that we moved homes, I am going to give you something to do, but you'll have to promise me you'll keep it up, if you do, I am sure... Super Kobo will help you more!"

If the only way to get to her head was to play along her game, and if she called her powers - 'just some help from this so-called Super Kobo' -, he would roll with it and take advantage to help her.

And so awkwardly smiling he continued while raising another finger up, prompting the blue head to stare with more seriousness this time after hearing that she might be able to call forth Super Kobo's strength willingly!

" After doing so, you have to promise me to not destroy the entire park... it's already damaged, but there are still people living around... can... you promise me those two things?"

Finalizing his speech, he waited for the other party's response, he knew she was a promise keeper, but if you made one with her, expect hell if you don't accomplish it, one time he forgot to buy her Pizza after having promised he would do so after his training.

That was one hell of a day with her asking when they were going to eat it, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲.

"*Nods* Kobo will do her besht!"- Raising one arm up she nods ferociously, earning a nod back from the man.

' God.... please make it work...'- As they were on a grassy part of the park he pointed to a tree that was close by, it had a very rough paint drawing of the face of what looked to be a horned monster in white and blue colors, it's teeth although very ugly were also sharp.

"Kobo.... That monster right there destroyed that lady's ice cream store... You thi-*𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐌!!!* k....."

*𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐎𝐎𝐎𝐌!!!*

" 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐔 𝐃𝐎 𝐃𝐀𝐓!!!!!!"

"Hm.... At least it worked...."

The tree that had the drawing was simply broken in two as the girl dropkicked it in the middle, breaking it in two parts... And now she was steeping on it over and over, and only mashed wood was left on the ground as she created a small crater around her.

Saitama looked down at where she was before, a crater was formed where her feet were, proving she basically had an outburst the second she heard that... -' It it'll be this way then..'

*𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐎𝐌!*

"Kobo... that's enough, the lady is fine, I was just helping you with your pow.... Super Kobo, now, can you keep using it?"

Asking as he stared at the girl who just stopped kicking the three, he observed how she looked at both her hands, seeing those blue sparkles and her eyes widened as so did her smile.

"Did she.... never notice that those appeared when her powers are activated?... Ahh*sigh*."

Not really paying attention to what the adult man said, she started jumping around... but it was kinda different from how she usually did before.

*USH!!*- "Wooow!!!!"

On the first jump, she almost hit a tree, she was about ten meters away from where she was before, for her it was almost instantaneous, the black-haired man was also impressed, but he still could see her fine.

She started to hop around, appearing all around Saitama as he casually followed her with his eyes.-" Kobo... try that same kick you did with the tree on me... I wanna see how hard you can hit currently."

Pushing his green sleeves up, he watches as she nods rapidly while still reappearing around him, before she dug her feet into the ground, causing multiple spiderwebs cracked to appear around her feet.

*𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌!*

"KOBOOO!!! KICK!!!"- Appearing in front of Saitama's face with both her legs pushed close to her face Kobo gets ready.

*𝐁𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐌!!!*

And kicking forward, she hits the back of the man's right arm, but it didn't even move him from his place, but the other results spoke for themselves as the wind pressure generated from the clash almost trashed away all the leaves from the trees nearby, the one who tanked the hit couldn't be happier seeing the girl's strength.

Also, there was something that he also noticed, Kobo flinched at how casually he tanked Super Kobo's strength, she was not angry with him, but more so that the move she thought about being strong wasn't working.

*USH!!*- Pushing herself back from his arm, she frowned, she didn't know that Saitama got hundreds of times stronger since she met him, and so she thought that she herself got weaker....

That didn't settle well with her small mind... for herself, Super Kobo( Her powers) were strong! She knew the man was on par with said power also, but now she didn't even make him flinch back.

The silence and heavy feeling around the area started to grow, Saitama was starting to worry if she was okay... but he quickly got his answer....

" Supah Kobo..... Ish not wek..... 𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐍𝐎𝐓!!!!!"- *𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆*

Around Kobo blue electricity exploded trying to engulf her before it exploded outwards, her blue eyes shined as she stared at the one who made her feel like that, and he also saw that in her eyes she didn't hold anything towards him.

And more so she knew she was strong, even while being so simple-minded she had her pride, and so far she never lost to anyone in her life, besides Saitama, but she didn't count it as for her it was natural, she knew their strength difference subconsciously.

But even while losing, her Super Kobo state was at least enough for her to play around with him whenever she activate it accidentally, even if in the end she would be on the ground laughing and the man standing over her with a bottle of water and a kind smile.

She wasn't weak, right now she was even stronger, but that kick didn't even make the man flinch back, not even one bit.... in her eyes, she just sawn it as she herself getting weaker somehow.

*𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌!!!* - Dashing forward as her electric aura still around her, she broke the ground she was a second ago into a crater of a size similar to herself

"𝐊𝐎𝐁𝐎 𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐍𝐎𝐓!!!"

*𝐁𝐀𝐌𝐌!!*

Another dropkick, but this time it was absurdly more powerful than the last one hit the back of his arm with... but for a second, Saitama had to analyze the situation and he kinda understood what was happening, and choose the best option was to let the girl rest assured.

*Uuuuushh!*

He let himself slide back, even if he wanted to teach her that there were people stronger than her, she seemed to already know that, in her own way.

" Saitamachi... ish da strongest*huff*... Then Kobo ish also da strongest!"

Smiling at achieving her objective of moving him back, she pointed a thumb to herself while grinning with a big smile showing her canines, also with both eyes closed, happy to be able to prove to herself she wasn't weak.

The one who let himself slide back just sighed while scratching the back of his head, but followed with a small grin.-" Yeah, yeah, Kobo is also the strongest, but now you can't slack off okay? Super Kobo also needs to grow super strong right?"

"*Nods* Supah Kobo will get even strongah!"

Gaining a nod after what he asked, the girl was jumping in place lightly as she felt her new powers, the electricity still around her sparkling, but when she jumped a bit in place smiling to ask if she could play with it...

Her eyes suddenly dropped almost closing, her movements stopped with her moving back and forth without balance, and the sparkles flickered away instantly.

"Kobo...*falls down* Sleepy..."

"KOBO!!*USH!!*" - Dashing from his location, the adult carer holds the girl before she fell to the ground, having her in a princess carry as all his worry flew away as she started snoring.

"*Sigh* Don't scare me like that you brat.... It's been a while since she fully exhausted herself, this is something she will need to learn to prevent, exhausting everything she has would put her in a vulnerable position... But it seemed to be a good final attack... will need to talk more later about it with her."

Finalizing his thoughts and now holding the small snoring wave head, Saitama started making his way out of the park, they already called a lot of unwanted attention, someone might show up searching for what was going on there.

And he wasn't in the vibe to explain, so putting Kobo on piggyback he got to walking back to their home.

Passing by the empty streets he looked around the devastated ghost town, not one person in sight, only the remains of what used to be a very populated area of Z-City now nothing but a location for monsters to come seeking hiding.

They moved in yesterday, and already enjoyed the silence they had, it was nice, only occasionally disturbed by the kid's excited shouts at the TV when one of her shows was airing.

But that was something he was already used to, and even came to like, it gave the dead silence a good lively feeling, he sat down and watched them with her too.

Last night they watched quite a lot of things until she just passed out on the couch, it fit her perfectly, and she seemed to have a liking to sleep in the living room, the one responsible even tried making her use a Futon.

Only to be refused as she said she liked how 'springy' the couches were, and so he let her be, as it seemly wasn't affecting her.

" Hmm, what are we going to have for dinner today?"- Walking up the stairs to their newly acquired home, the green-tracked man was trying to think about something.

"Uhhh...*drooling* Pizzaaaaaaa~"- But he seemed to get his response as the one in his back talked in her heavy sleep.

"*Nods* Okay then, I will just tuck you under some covers and be right back then."

Holding her by the thigh with one arm he quickly picked up the key for the door as they finally arrived in front of it, and opened it.

Too fast for even trained humans to see, as he put the key back into his pocket and got back to holding into the other girl's thigh to keep her balance, that was how fast he unlocked the door, fast enough for Kobo to not even destabilize.

*creaak~*

Opening the door with his feet, he quickly got inside and kicked it slightly back to close it as he got in, carefully to not make too much noise.

''Tadaima....."

*tap*tap*

Patting his white running shoes off, he steps inside his house, walking towards the couch, and tries to gently lie Kobo in there, fixing her position so her face rests on the comfy cushion, seeing that she was already comfortable he nodded and walked towards the closet in his room.

Picking a blanket and walking back to cover the girl, it was starting to get cold already, and as he was walking back with the said blanket he gave a look at the digital clock above the refrigerator.

"*whispers* Five p.m already.... Will have to hurry up to get the pizza before she wakes up then."- Confirming what he needed to do next he walked up to the girl and put the blanket above her, only her head was peaking out as she snored and moved around getting to a more comfortable position.

Seeing that everything was already done Saitama walks back to the entrance, puts his shoes back on, and walking out, then locked the door behind him.

It was starting to get chilly already as he felt the cold hitting his face while walking downstairs, and so he got on, roaming once more through the empty ghost streets, hearing from time to time loud noises.

As his steps echoed through the concrete grounds he heard another pair of footsteps, looking in front of him he saw another street crossing his into an intersection, but that didn't stop his movement, and so he continued walking.

The place he was right now was narrow, concrete walls were on the sides of the streets, blocking the vision from the worn-out houses, but there were also huge holes in the walls, seemingly from battles that took place there.

When both he and the other party finally got to see each other their eyes widened, a woman with a long dark green dress and an elegant white cloak was the one walking he heard with her long-heeled boots.

She sighed and pointed a finger at him-" Aren't you Kobo's brother? What are you doing in this part of the city?"- Suspicious about why he was there she squinted her eyes, ready to use her powers if needed.

But all she got was a blank face from the man before he tried remembering who she was putting his hand under his chin and getting a better look at her until it clicked making him smile slightly.

" Ooooh! You're the girl that was playing with Kobo the other day in the park! Aha.. My bad. Forgot a bit there, well I am going out to buy Kobo some pizza, we're living close by,*points thumb towards his home* if you want to come by I am sure Kobo will appreciate having a friend around."

Scratching the back of his head after pointing out where they lived only left Fubuki flash banged, she would never imagine they lived around the ghost district, the place she was sent to investigate...

"Hmm...*Cough* I- I will take the offer! Was searching for Kobo earlier today after we settled on a hotel close by, I will accompany you to get the pizzas then, but do you mind answering a few questions? I don't like it too much, but since you guys live close by you might have seen something that could help us."

Both of them resumed walking, and Saitama standing at his 175cm had to lower his head slightly when speaking to Fubuki 167cm, but he was already used to... having to almost look at the ground when speaking with the small blue kid who was close to 142cm.

As they walked she questioned him about monsters, strange sounds, possible hideouts, Kobo, how was Kobo doing these past times, and such.

He noted that she seemed to like the wave one a lot, and was even intrigued by it.-" How did you come to like Kobo so much? Didn't you guys meet only one time as far as I can remember? Kinda strange."

Giving her a side look, the woman gave him another one too, she was being super formal even with him being outside everything she considered adequate, in her eyes he was a civilian, and also the small blue head brother, which Saitama didn't even bother to correct her as it passed by without him even paying attention.

"*Sigh* Look, I just liked the kid.... she has so much energy that it's contagious *gentle smile.* It helped me quite a lot at the time that I was working around here, that small interaction has made me laugh alone just by remembering it, I was going to come by to give her a present earlier as thanks for the small company.... *sad smile* But more monsters have been showing up recently, and things are getting harder..."

Breaking a bit of her rough shield of a personality, she coughed a few times before glaring at Saitama who hummed at her words, what she didn't expect was his small smirk, not one of mockery, but a happy one.

" I know how you feel, Kobo has that energy. I am also very thankful to her even if that little head of hers will never understand that, *looks at Fubu* so what you just said is totally understandable, and you seen to be doing your best to help others, you should be proud of that. I am sure she will be happy when you show up too."

What seemed to be small words, were more than enough to make the green lady's eyes widen, even if the words were coming from all she knows a nobody, it was nice hearing things like that aren't just idolizing from people outside her agency.

Gaining an almost nonexistent ting of red in her cheeks as she coughed in her hand.-" We better hurry up, or else the place will close right?"

Her eyes got back to where they were walking, and she sees that they already left the ghost town a while ago..."Eh? We already left?...."

" Yeah, come on, it's right there, I will buy a cheese one, Kobo seemed to like those last time I bought one."

Walking forward after nodding to the woman by his side was still dumbfounded that they already arrived, she was so focused on the conversation that she didn't even see the people passing by giving her looks, some recognizing her even.

"Huh? *looks around* Where? Ah! WAIT FOR ME!"

Shouting in a commanding tone, she finds the black-haired man entering a pizzeria and follows him inside as she passes through the orange clothing separating the inside and outside of the place.

Walking in following the green-tracked dude she was greeted with a small place, there was on balcony cutting the room in two, and by their side of it there was a row of five restaurant chairs, one of which Saitama was already occupying.

She wasn't used to such simple places like these, but she also wasn't going to go against it, and so taking a seat next to the one has been following she waited.

The one beside her remembered something and turned to her side.-" Now that I think about it, we haven't introduced ourselves.*points finger to himself* Saitama, what's yours?"

Flinching for a second, she turned to him with a proud air around her but stopped herself before saying any stupidities.

'He and Kobo don't seem to know who I am... If I start to shout about it I might lose the girl friendliness... NO!! THAT CAN'T HAPPEN! I finally got myself a cute friend!'

Her mind was burning while overworking as her face stayed stoic, she did have a ton of people around her, but most knew her as Blizzard of Hell, but not here.

Yes, she was serious most of the time, but she always wanted someone to be chill around, a true friend, and somehow got to experience it with the small girl, that day she was playing around and laughing not really caring about the other weights she carried.

That feeling, of forgetting everything for a brief moment for the sake of fun was something that picked her interest greatly, and so she wouldn't want o to ruin the opportunities she could have of being friendly by exploding with uncalled arrogance.

" Uhhh...*waves hand in front of her face* Hellooo? You good there?"- Waving his hand in front of the girl as he rose an eyebrow seemed to do the trick as Saitama got her out of her mindscape.

"Ah- Sorry. My name... is Fubuki... I am the CEO of an agency that takes care of Monsters, we are around here making an investigation after one of them."

Cutting on some truths, she introduced herself while nodding slightly.

*𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠!*

The sound of a small bell rang on the other side of the balcony as a tall chubby man wearing a red chief cap and sporting a beautiful brown mustache walked out with three pizza packages walked out of a door that gave way into the kitchen.

" Saitama-ma How's little Kobo duing?"- With a heavy Italian accent he started putting the Pizzas inside a big plastic bag for Saitama to carry it back home.

" She's okay, was trying to help her with those powers of hers, but she ended up going overboard and falling asleep earlier...*sigh*..."- Running his hand through his hair, Saitama closed his eyes.

The one sitting in a very elegant way by his side widened her eyes.-" Does Kobo-chan have powers? That's one I didn't know....*smirks and whispers* That opens a lot of possibilities..."

"Yeah.... But she doesn't have control over them at all, Mario there knows, last time we came to get her pizza a monster appeared and destroyed a part of his store, she got angered and kicked it... towards the other half that was still up, fully destroying it..."

Finalizing his story with a dead look Saitama hid his face between his arms that were on the balcony, ashamed he couldn't stop her.

"AHAHAH! Don' be like tha't Saitama-ma! She tried to help, that what's it matters, no need to feel bad."- Shaking his head, the now know Mario pushes the plastic bag forward with all three pizza packages inside it.

And getting up from his arms, Saitama picked up his launch and got to walking towards the exit while waving his hand.-" I will see you later Mario, need to go back before she wakes up."

"*Chuckle* You too Saitama-ma, tell Kobo I said hi, and that if she comes by the shopping center to pass by here! The kid eats like a champ!"

The laughing from the Italian man woke up the green woman from her thoughts and, seeing that Saitama already left the money where he was resting his head on the balcony she sprung up running after him almost falling, but with the help of her powers she kept her balance as she left.

Mario got to witness the scene and smiled while picking up the money on his balcony.-" She's clumsy, but doesn't seem like a bad person, hmm*nods* good luck young lady."

Going back to his kitchen, we cut back towards the other two who were walking back to Saitama's house, Fubuki was still thinking.

' She can join us a learner with that of strength.... she wouldn't be a full hero but she would still be under my surveillance, the boring days around the office would be cut... and seeing where they live I could very well give her a raise to pay off everything she wants.... no I could give her my card then.... I don't think she would leave us..... But there's also Saitama, but couldn't he join in too?..... I will have to think more later...'

Finally stopping her thoughts she walked a bit faster, catching up with the one carrying their food for today, and something she noticed caught her attention.

"Why three? Shouldn't one be enough for all of you?"- Resting her hands behind her back she side-eyed him waiting for her answer.

And Saitama shrugged.-" Two of them are for Kobo, she will probably eat them by herself alone, the other one is for us, but you better eat somewhat fast, otherwise, the three of them will vanish..."

"Eh?"- Clueless, she made a cute dumbfounded face, not really believing.

"Yo-You seriously?.... Where does all that go into such a small body..."- She was going to go back to her mind, but cut herself before doing so.

But all she got as an answer was just an 'I don't know' with a humourous voice tone, they continue walking, Fubu was asking some other questions to further her knowledge about the bluehead.

It was like there wasn't a ceiling, she heard how the small girl was strong enough to destroy buildings, and how Saitama was worried about how her thought process toward sharp objects was .... peculiar.

As she heard and asked more, they finally arrived at the Saitama's newly acquired home, it was already starting to get darker as they got to the stairs, Fubuki looked around, dumbfounded that he wasn't joking.

'They really live in a ghost area... Well from what I heard, Kobo seems strong enough to do so... *looks at Saitama's back* Could he be too?'- Climbing the stairs they finally got to the door.

*click*-" Well, welcome to our house, isn't much but it's pretty comfortable."- Walking in as he took off his shoes, Saitama put the bag above the kitchen balcony and walked to the living room, seeing his worries were for nothing.

Kobo somehow managed to move enough that she managed to rest both legs on the coach's backrests, while her back was laying where you normally would sit, a bubble was raising up and down as she snored, smiling happily.

Behind Saitama, Fubuki finally walked in after getting her boots off.-"Well... excuse me.... *sees Kobo*.... Hmm, *pfft* good to see she's sleeping well."

Sighing Saitama tried to fix her position but got a foot to his face.-" Hey Fubuki.... mind helping?"

He couldn't move as Kobo was pushing his face away as he tried to grab her, and receiving a chuckle from the green lady, she moved her hands around and a green light enveloped Kobo and moved her back to her couch in the position Saitama left her before, also putting the covers above her gently.

"Wow... So that's psychic power huh... Pretty neat, but would you want some tea as *waves head to Kobo* isn't wake yet?"

Blinking twice, she didn't find out why would she need to refuse.

" Sure, I will stay here looking out for Kobo then."- Moving towards the armrest of the couch, Fubuki took a seat and started patting the girl's blue hair.

"Kay then, be right back."- Walking inside the kitchen Saitama starts to put water inside a kettle as Fubu stays there with Kobo humming some songs.
