Chapter 183

Adam mentioned the location of Birchwood Village.

Clay dismissed it at once: "There are quite a few bandits in that area, what do you want it for?"

"I've been there before."

Adam smiled: "The terrain there is pretty good, and if cultivated well, it could produce a lot of food every year."

"In that case, I might as well buy that piece of land and fulfill my desire to become a lord."

The reason was indeed quite reasonable. Many down-and-out aristocrats would think about acquiring a territory to regain their aristocratic status after becoming wealthy again.

It made sense for Adam to say this.

Clay nodded without asking more questions.

He had someone bring out a map and casually outlined that area.

"Is this enough?"

"Isn't it a bit much?"

Adam was somewhat surprised.

The area Clay had delineated was much larger than he had imagined before.

He had previously wanted only the area centered around Birchwood Village.
