Arwen is living her regular life, working as a librarian and collecting and releasing her strays, when she finds herself taking in her biggest one of all.



A human-male.



Armed with her compassion and mild sarcasm she unknowingly gets caught in the middle of a mafia feud with no clear boundaries set out for her.



Romeo, her human stray, proves to be harder to free than she thought and even more complicated than she'd originally believed.



With the mafia searching around the clock and Romeo unwilling to leave her side, how can she get out of the entanglement alive?
