Nora was discharged at the hospital and Sara took her home while Diego and Kelvin left to go to work.
Sara opened the door for her and immediately Nora entered the house, there was this chill she felt and this empitiness hovering around the house. She mustered her the courage to go to her brother's room while Sara walked closely behind her. She opened the door and found her brother's bed a little scattered. She moved closer to arrange the bed. Her eyes then caught a piece of paper folded under the pillow when she tried to arrange the pillows.
"What is that?" Sara asked.
Nora took the piece of paper, opened it and started reading it aloud.
"Hey little Norie, I am about to do something that you have always warned me never to do when you are not around but right now, you are no where to be found and I can't help but think that something bad had happened to you. I have to do this so that I can also help to look for you but in case this doesn't turn out well, I don't want you blaming yourself. I love you, Norie. Love, big bro."
She folded the paper and handed it to Sara. Sara opened it and read it by heart. She knew Andrew wouldn't have done something like this if she had come a bit early.
Nora walked to the bathroom. She hesitated a while before opening the door and going inside. She saw the blood on the ground next to the bath tub and his wheelchair. She envisaged how her brother got off from the wheelchair, tried to get into he bathtub, how he slipped, hit his head on the bath tub and how the blood flowed out of his head.
"Nora, I don't think you should be in here." She ignored what Sara said, got a towel and wiped the blood with the towel.
Nora was holding back not to cry but the more she kept holding back, the more the tears rolled down. "He was trying to come and look for me." she looked at Sara. "I lost my brother because of Michael. If he hadn't kidnapped me, Andrew wouldn't have tried to walk his way into the bath tub. He would have waited for me. This is all his fault."
"I heard he travelled. He must have felt guilty for what he did."
"He had better not return because if he does."
"Kelvin already informed the police so if he eventually enters into the city, he would be tracked down and arrested for kidnapping and rape." Sara told her. "About Kelvin, I think you should forgive him. He has been nothing but good to you."
Nora looked at Sara in disbelief. "Really?" She asked and Sara nodded.
"All he has done ever since the whole incident was to make your life a lot better. I don't think he deserves to be treated this way."
"Are you kidding me right now, Sara?" Nora dropped the towel and walked up to Sara. "He was there when those videos were taken and he did absolutely nothing because the person that did it was his friend. Do i need to remind you what he said to me when I approached him saying he was a suspect?"
"There was nothing wrong in what he said. You made a mistake..."
"And who's fault is that? You promise that you were going to stay with me but instead you left me all alone while you go in there to have yourself..."
Sara was sad hearing all these Nora was saying to her. "Wait! You thought I left you for that long to have fun with some guys?"
"You tell me then if that's not it. All you know how to do is go to wherever you can get laid to to see if you can get yourself a boyfriend but all that you get is nothing but horny men who just want to f**k with you and sorry to say but this could be why you have never had a successful relationship."
Sara's mouth was left agape but instead of replying to her, she gave Nora the piece of paper and said, "I will come back to check up on you when you are not in a bad mood." She turned her back and left the house.
She didn't know when tears out of no where rolled down her cheeks but she wiped them off immediately. "She is just in a bad mood, don't take what she said to heart." She reminded herself that Nora wouldn't have said all that if she was in a good mood.
She has lost a lot and it's only normal for her to get angry. But verging her anger on Sara, was it right?
She got a call from Kelvin telling her to meet her up somewhere. Sara wanted to hesitate but she couldn't so she left to the place.
She arrived at the small restaurant and she saw Kelvin waving his hand at her. She walked closer and took a seat infront of her. She looked arond for Diego but she didn't see him. "Is it just you?" she asked and Kelvin nodded.
"Oh okay."
Kelvin noticed that there was sadness in her tone but he couldn't tell if it was because Diego didn't come or something else. He grabbed his phone and was about to put a call through to Diego.
"What are you doing?"
"Calling Diego. You don't seem to be comfortable around me."
Sara took the phone and cancelled the call. "If you wanted to discuss about something that involves him, you would have invited him over without me having to ask." Kelvin smiled because he knew she was right. "Am I right?"
He smiled again and this time a little wider. "How is Nora?"
Sara thought about it and she kept the part where Nora was rude to her a secret while she told him the rest things that happened.
"So, Andrew knew he was going to die?"
"It was a risk he was willing to take and he knew only one out of the two would happen. Either he dies or he lives. He wrote that just in case the former happen."
"Do you think she will be okay?"
Sara shook her head. "She has alot of feelings bottled up inside her. She is in rage right now even I as her best friend, can't help her. This is a stage she has to go through alone."
Kelvin noticed something when he listened to her. "Is there something you ain't telling me?" he asked.
Sara quickly gave a slight smile and shook her head. "No, of course not."
"Did she do or say any..."
"I just said it's nothing." She cuts in rudely and it only made Kelvin know something must have happened. "I am sorry." She apologized after realizing how rude she was towards him. "I have to go now," without waiting to hear his go ahead, she took her bag and left the restaurant.
