Minhyuk reached out to grab Yuri's hand and swung it back and forth. His lips were pulled into a pout while those round eyes of his stared at her pleadingly.
"Let's go to the internet café today, alright, Yuri?" He sounded desperate.
Mingyu's eyes fell on Minhyuk's hand, and displeasure flashed through them. He pursed his lips into a thin line.
"Let go of me first," Yuri commented, disgusted by the way Minhyuk acted.
"No, you first tell me that you are going with me to the internet café or else I will keep-"
Before he could continue further, Minhyuk felt Yuri's hand being pulled away from his grasp. He stared at Mingyu with widened eyes, his lips parted.
He noticed the irritation on Mingyu's face although it was quite subtle, and this made chill travel down his back.
Yuri too was surprised by Mingyu's action and stared at him questioningly.
Minhyuk didn't think much of it and cleared his throat.
"Anyways, back to what I was saying, are we going to the internet café or not?" Minhyuk asked.
"Fine, let's go. It's been a while since I have gone out to play," Yuri expressed, "I need to destress."
"That's what I love about you, Yuri! I will go and find Nayoung."
He rushed off following that, and Yuri turned to look at the brooding Mingyu. He wasn't the one to talk much.
And if it wasn't for his overwhelming aura, one would probably forget about his presence.
"Do you want to tag along?" She arched her eyebrows.
"If it isn't a bother," he answered.
She smiled.
"Certainly not. But don't you think you should let go of my hand?"
Her eyes fell on where he held her hand, and Mingyu immediately let go of her hand.
Once they were done with the classes, Minhyuk insisted on buying snacks before heading to the internet café. Nayoung agreed along with the idea as well.
As the two of them entered the store, Yuri and Mingyu stood outside, waiting for them. Yuri tapped her feet on the ground rhythmically.
"Wait a minute," Mingyu said.
This made her raise an eyebrow, and he opened the door, walking in the store next. She didn't think much of it.
Around a minute or two later, Mingyu appeared by her side and stretched out his hand. His slender, pale fingers held a cone of raspberry ice-cream.
Her eyes dilated for a second before she chuckled and stated, "Thank you. But I feel bad since you keep spending money on me like this. You should give me the chance to return you the favor."
"I like it," he responded expressionlessly.
Next, she stared at him, taken aback and finding the situation to be incomprehensible.
"Why would you like it?" Her voice became almost muted at the end.
The steely blue eyes held deep and inexplicable emotions in them. They were intense and didn't hide the obsession.
She snapped out of the moment when Minhyuk's voice fell.
"Let's get going now!"
Yuri blinked her eyes a couple times and coughed. She regained her composure and stated, "Yeah, let's do that."
She rushed over to Minhyuk with hurried footsteps, feeling quite flustered.
Mingyu never concealed his feelings from Yuri. One of the regrets that remained within him started from how aloof he was with Yuri regarding his feelings in his last life.
He gave her the opportunity to doubt his feelings for her, and there will be a no second time for that.
"What are you doing, standing there, Mingyu? Hurry up!" exclaimed Minhyuk.

Yuri waved her hand in front of her face and coughed. She stated, "I can never used to the thick smell of smoke here. I will seriously get sick if I keep on frequenting here."
"There, there, quit being so delicate, princess," Minhyuk teased.
Yuri scoffed, ignoring him.
Getting no attention from Yuri made him stretch out his hand, about to place it on Nayoung's shoulder, when Nayoung gave him a sharp stare and stated, "Do that if you want your hand to be snapped."
Minhyuk sighed and raised his hand.
"Okay, okay, you all win. No one likes me. I get it." Minhyuk pouted.
Yuri faced him and stated, "How come no one likes you? Don't you have—"
Her words got interrupted as she felt a hand on her shoulder, pulling her closer to Mingyu. She raised her head to look at his face.
"Be careful when walking."
She turned back to see that she almost bumped into someone else.
