Frustrated

Gemma sat on one of her aunt's couches with her feet curled underneath her, a cup of green tea in one hand. Her aunt was sitting beside her in the same position eating some Chinese rice.

Gemma was the one who had suggested that they ordered Chinese, but the moment she saw and perceived the food she suddenly had the urge to throw up, so she decided to settle for a cup of green tea instead. She wasn't feeling hungry anyway.

"Is it weird that I crave the smell of certain things while most other things repulse me?" Gemma asked as she sipped her tea.

"No, it is not. It's a common thing for pregnant women," her aunt replied.

Gemma sighed. "This pregnancy is making me crave weird things."

"Relax, it's normal." Her aunt placed her pack of food on the coffee table and turned to face Gemma. "So what is it you said was frustrating you?"

"Everything," Gemma replied with a sigh.
