Shouldn't Have Gotten Me Pregnant

When Gemma woke up the following morning, Miguel had already left for work, and the cook, Kate was in the kitchen cooking. Gemma said hello to her and went to the cabinet to get her pack of ginger tea. She was feeling nauseous and ginger tea helped to suppress her nausea.

The first time Gemma met the cook, she sensed the girl didn't like her, from the way she always responded to her greeting and spoke to her, so Gemma always stayed out of her way whenever she came around to cook.

She was around the same age as Gemma or maybe a little older. Gemma doesn't know why the girl doesn't like her because they've never met before, not that she can remember.

When she opened the cabinet where she usually kept her ginger tea, she was surprised to see that it was not there.

"Looking for something?" Kate asked as she stirred what she was cooking in the pot.
