The next week, Gemma got to know and see the soft side of Miguel as he stayed up with her in the evenings when he came back from work going over the designs to choose for their unborn child's bedroom.

Gemma was planning on hiring the services of an interior designer to do the design but when she realized how close doing it together was making them get, she changed her mind about doing that.

Every evening she would look forward to him coming back from work, and after attending to his wound and having dinner with him, they would stay hurdled up looking at different designs to choose from. Most times she would deliberately stall in making a decision, just so she could spend more time with him and get to see his soft side more.

The way he would concentrate when looking at the various pictures and trying to make a decision. The way a small smile plays on his lips when he thinks something is cute.
