A strange phenomenon.

As I crawled across the cold, wet forest floor, I was stunned by a faint light near me.

The possibility that it was a person gave me strength to head faster to where it came from, hoping to be rescued.

"Ugh, come on, move new body."

I slowly moved forward for about 15 minutes, with the light becoming more and more noticeable.

When I reached the place where it came from, I was very disappointed.

"No.., no, NO!"

"This can't be happening!"

The source of the light was a small monolith with a glowing berry on top.

"...I will die here."

Fear, frustration and anger began to take over me, I couldn't believe how little I was able to stay alive in this world.

"AAAAAAHG! NO, I CAN'T BE SO WEAK!" I shouted angrily and with all my remaining strength I punched the monolith, which caused the glowing fruit to fall near me and a stone with white symbols could be seen among the rocks scattered on the ground.

Then an idea popped into my head.

"Ahg, the fruit... could it be medicinal?"

"I lose nothing by trying, I'll die at this rate anyway" I said with difficulty.

I slowly reached out my hand towards the fruit and brought it close to my mouth.

"Here we go."

I took a bite and then another, until I had finished it.

"Munch Munch."

"I feel better-AAAAHGG"

Just when I felt like I could start to recover, I was overcome with an indescribable pain and burning in my body, I felt every muscle fiber in my body explode and burn, then regenerate and repeat the cycle.

"AAAAAAAHHGGGG!"

The pain was so strong that I finally passed out.

...

Two hours later I woke up sore and slowly got up.

"M-my wounds, they're gone!"

Glad but confused, I looked at my body and checked its condition.

"Hmm, according to the state of my clothes the fight couldn't have been a dream, so that fruit if it was medicinal."

"I'll look at my attribute window to check for any possible changes."

"WHAT THEEEEEEE!!! How is this possible, did I just happen to find a trap item by pure chance?"

"Well, whatever it is it's great, not only did it save me from certain death, but it increased my physical stats by 1 point and broke my limiter."

After rejoicing at the effects of the item I consumed, I noticed a stone with a glowing white engraving on it.

"What is this?" I said confused.

Looking closer a small note could be seen on the remains of the monolith.

[To the one who found this remote place, an evolutionary rune, useful but somewhat annoying. Just break it in your hand to acquire it].

I was stunned by this revelation and quickly took the rune and broke it into pieces with my hand.

>Skills: - Analysis Lvl 1: This skill evolves along with the wearer, it allows to see basic information about the environment and living things. More information at level 2.

I couldn't believe it, I found what I was longing for and got such a broken skill just by starting.

I quickly went back to the corpse of the monster to look for its core and valuable parts like teeth skin and claws, when it was all ready I set out to find my camping tent.

"Well, if I'm not mistaken, the tent should be this way."

I looked around it was very dark and happened to identify some fruits.

"Those fruits look familiar."

"I remember! They are the same ones I ate half a day ago."

Those berries gave me a very hard time, how could I forget them. This means I am close to the area I was in.

After 1 hour of walking around and around, I found my longed-for tent.

I finally found it and it still has my stuff in it.

"It's time to go home."

I'm so happy to be back in a safe environment for my weak range and better yet, now with upgrades and useful materials.

I think it's a good time to test my new skill and for this reason I will test.

I took out the materials obtained from the beast and proceeded to test it on the creature's skins.

"Analysis!".

A window opened over the object.

===Analysis===

- Lycant Skin: A material used mostly for making low grade armor

And very warm rugs.

"..."

The skill was fine, but feeling someone comment on everything I analyze makes it a bit annoying, but I just ignored it.

Now let's see what happens if I just think about analyzing something, I'll try it with the claws.

Analysis!

===Analysis===

- Lycant claws: Sharp claws that can cut rocks very easily and are useful for creating low quality gloves.

This is great, the comments don't come out now and best of all, I can activate it with my mind, I would have looked crazy if I had to spend the day yelling at anything I wanted to analyze.

All that was left for me to do was to go back to the station.

...

It took me a total of 3 hours to get out of the thick forest that surrounded me.

Finally I will know this world in all its splendor, but first, I will go home, I want to get to know my family better and go to the academy, so maybe I will adapt more to this world.

On second thought, I should go to sell these materials for credits to the village, who knows, maybe I can buy equipment with that money.

I headed to the nearest blacksmith shop, luckily it wasn't too far, all I had to do was walk 50 meters to get there.

I opened the door and at the same time a bell rang.

"Hello, is anyone there?"

In the. place were large shelves with all kinds of low and medium quality equipment.

"Hello?"

No one answered

I don't think anyone would mind if I took a look at the equipment. I stood in front of a nice breastplate and activating Analysis, I looked at its stats.

===Analysis===

- Iron breastplate : Excellent for protection from enemy damage and perfect for a newbie.

- Cost: 1000 C

- Defense: +5

---

- Iron Sword : Long sword with a good edge, faithful companion of every novice and the most basic thing to start fighting.

- Cost: 800 C

- Attack: 6

I was satisfied with the information, I only analyzed the cheapest and most basic, but it was what I needed now.

I headed to the counter to see if I could find the owner, but before I could find him a loud explosion sounded.

"BOOM!"

I headed to the source of the sound, only to find a stout man passed out in room with a burning table.

"Hey, hey, what happened!"

He obviously didn't respond but I still tried to put out the fire, I grabbed a rag I found lying around, waved it around and rubbed it quickly until the fire stopped

"Come on buddy, wake up!"

Seeing that he wasn't waking up, I thought I had only one option left...slap the hell out of him.

The man was slowly waking up, but unfortunately he had to suffer a barrage of slaps

Slap Slap Slap Slap Slap Slap Slap Slap

By the fifth slap the young man with black hair and brown eyes stood up suddenly and yelled at me.

"Why are you hitting me, are you crazy or what's wrong with you?" he said angrily.

"S-sorry, I heard an explosion and when I went to check I saw you lying on the ground." I said trying to look scared, as I inwardly enjoyed hitting him, because of the scare he gave me.

"Oh.."

"Ah, excuse me, you were just trying to help." he said apologetically.

"Sorry about the explosion, I was experimenting with new equipment, but a reaction unfortunately went wrong."

"My name is Hal, nice to meet you." he said raising his hand to greet me.

"The pleasure is mine, I'm Tim" I replied.

"One question."

"Are you the owner of the store" I asked.

"No, actually the store belongs to my grandfather, but since he's sick I'll take over for now." he said with a melancholy look on his face.

I looked at him sympathetically and changed the subject.

"Hal, can I call you that?"

"Yes, of course don't be embarrassed" he said with a smile.

"Well... it's just that I need to sell some materials I got in the forest near Fuhja Mountain, how much could you give me for this? "I said as I showed him the claws and skins and core of the beast I killed.

"Hmmm, let me examine them."

He proceeded to analyze the materials.

"Seeing the quality and that you have the core with you... I could give you 3000 C do you think?"

It actually seemed pretty good to me, I don't know about supply and demand in this economy, maybe I would soon learn, but it didn't seem like a bad deal.

"Sounds great to me." I said quickly

"Okay, your 3000 C, give me your phone and I'll transfer the money to your account, I'll take those items".

I almost and forgot I had a cell phone, I didn't even check to see if it was locked, but I put all my faith in it not having a password.

I took my cell phone from my bag, but unfortunately it had a password.

No way, if I didn't hand it over it would be very suspicious. A drop of cold sweat ran down my forehead as I thought about the password.

I made up my mind, if the previous Tim was stupid this password will work.

I nervously punched in the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4, hoping that would be the password.

As fate would have it, the previous Tim was indeed stupid and I guessed the password.

Breathing heavily, I handed Hal my cell phone, not noticing that the corners of his lips curved upward.

After a couple of seconds he handed it back to me, with a smile and the number 3000 on apparently a banking app.

"Well, it was a pleasure doing business with you," he said.

"Likewise, but there is also one thing I wanted to buy here, a longsword and a light iron breastplate."

"Of course, that would be 1800 in total, but seeing as you put out the fire in my living room, I'll let you have it at.... 1500 C, how's that sound?" said Hal.

"Really?! Of course I'll take it, I'll pay the 1500".

I handed him the corresponding money and proceeded to quickly fetch the items, place them in my inventory, to try them out later.

"Thank you so much!" I said excitedly walking towards the door.

"You're welcome, don't worry" Hal said waving goodbye.

Now I was ready to start school and survive any conflicts that came my way.

...

Some time after Tim left the blacksmith shop, Hal could be seen smiling and looking at the materials he got from him.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA, that silly kid, doesn't he know that beast cores are rare to come by?

I'm going to get rich selling this, maybe I'll get 10,000C.

Hope to see him again, he wasn't a bad guy, but it was his fault what happened to him, it's common knowledge how valuable the cores are."

....

I would appreciate it if you would support this novel and comment on your reviews of it.
