Getting the Treasure

The Tenth Master was very delighted, the efficiency of the main force shocked him. It seems like they have all been training really hard and did not dare slack off.

The sacrificial lambs kept coming in streams into the demonic mountain, the ignorant cultivators who were sent to the Wild Forest by the Tenth Master's clone were all wiped out, not a single one of them remained.

Their corpse were kept intact, the sudden appearance and disappearance of cultivators in the Wild Forest raised up serious alarms.

Cultivators from different mercenaries groups in the city swarmed into the Wild Forest, their thought wandered between the emergence of a powerful beast or the fight for a precious treasure. The hostile beasts hid in holes and caves, the spiritual energy fluctuation from the cultivators made them wary and lose their ferociousness.

The Wild Forest was thrown into a state of chaos and unrest, different kinds of mutated ferocious Spirit beast wage brutal war on the humans that had invaded their territory.

Only the cultivators from the main force had a easier time in the Wild Forest. A total of 103 bronze masked cultivators were dispatched to carry out the secret mission. With the first phase of the mission completed, they dispersed and scattered around the Wild Forest searching for their ultimate prey. The entirety of the Wild Forest was covered in a giant web. No entry or exit was hidden from them, with their high level of reconnaissance they combed every inch of the Wild Forest, they moved like ghost, blending in with nature, lurking in the dark, that was the fear the Fiend instilled into the heart of people.

In the demonic mountain, the originally dark and gloomy mountain was enveloped in a blood red light. The blood red light was very eye-catching, it gave off a creepy and foreboding feeling. Inside the wide palace hall, the creepy altar remained floating mid-air, piles of corpses could be seen in the blood pool, making the blood pool redder, the thread like pattern was coated with a sheen of blood. The Tenth Master sat on top of the dark altar, the blood thread connected to every part of his body, with an evil smirk hanging on his mouth, he sat quietly cultivating, this red hair swayed gently, giving off a savage and blood thirsty feeling.

The blood pool suddenly boiled, it was like a boiling magma, as the heat increased, the corpse started disappearing, leaving only a pool of blood, the death qi became more exhorbitant and profound, the aura of the Tenth Master received a spontaneous increase.

The pressure became stronger, the mountain trembled, he broke through a small stage, a satisfied grin appeared on his face. Judging from the progress, he speculated that he would regained his full strength in less than two years.

He sent out a message through the mind stone, two years was a long time, it had to be sped up.

Ye Mo woke up groaning, intense pain assaulted his mind, he gripped his head tightly, the last thing he remembered was his sword cutting open the Silver Snow Leopard belly, he wanted to stand up, but the weight resting on him forced him back down.

The carcass of the Silver Snow Leopard rested on him, he pushed it away, and stood up with staggering steps.

His stomach rumbled like thundercloud, hunger, extreme hunger rendered him inability to think.

He picked up his knife and quickly dissect the Silver Snow Leopard added a little condiment and ate it raw.

He mulched and swallowed the meat to satiate his really hungry stomach, his voracious appetite shocked him, but he couldn't care, it was as if he would die at any moment if the could not satisfy his hunger, the huge body of the Silver Snow Leopard was finished quickly, only pieces of bones were left.

Belch.... He rubbed his stomach in satisfaction, he had nearly die of hunger, and that would have been really embarrassing. Streams of energy flowed into his limbs and every part of his body. The food was converted into pure spiritual energy which nourished his body. His spirit was lifted, just like a desert that suddenly experienced it first rainfall, every cell in his body vibrated with life.

He jumped to his feet filled with power, something was not right. Before he fell unconscious, he was severely wounded, no, he was at the brink of death. No sort of miraculous encounter could make him rise to his feet that fast, it would at least take months. Maybe the system felt guilty and lend out a helping hand. But he did not fully believe in the system, he felt as though he was in an illusion. Shock plastered on his face, his body with just few pieces of flesh remaining had regrown, it was like he had gained a new body.

No bloodstain, no internal or external injury, he was filled with life and explosive power, he glanced at his left arm, the claw mark had disappeared. He did not really believed in miraculous encounters but this left him speechless.

His body functions returned to their peak, his damaged internal organs were repaired, they even became stronger. His broken meridians became wider, thicker and stronger, even the tiny branch meridians was twice as large and thick than before. He was very happy, no words could correctly describe his emotions right now.

His greatest joy was that he was no longer bald, although his hair was not as long like before, it was better than the bald state.

He checked his cultivation and discovered that he had broke through the Eleventh stage of the Kung Fu Body Realm, the highest stage in the body realm since the ancient times. His skin was fairer than that of a woman but the power it contained was enough to crush a mountain. As the highest stage of the Kung Fu Body Realm, the eleventh stage did not disappoint. His limbs became longer, his hands hid great strength, his senses became sharper, his speed and reaction had all broke through the Spirit realm. The only way to accurately gauge his strength was actual combat. He sat down to regulate his breathing according to the breathing cycle of the Mountain Quaking Body.

He opened his eyes thirty minutes later, a chilling light flashed past his eyes, the breathing cycle enabled him to measure the sturdiness of his body. He believes that a bullet would not be able to penetrate his skin, even swords would not be able to hurt him in the slightest. He pushed all those thoughts aside, his eyes focused on the Silver Crystal floating mid-air a few meters from him. It was a very precious treasure, he breathing became hurried.

His steps quickened as he approached the Silver Crystal, the more closer he was to the crystal, the more farther it seemed. He noticed something bizarre, while it looked like he was just a few steps away from the crystal, the distance kept increasing. A realization hit him at that moment, the Silver Snow Leopard was not cultivating under the Silver Crystal, it was just an illusion, there was a barrier surrounding the Silver Crystal.

Ye Mo pushed forward, he broke through the barrier formed by the crystal. The moment his foot passed through the boundary, he entered a world of ice, it was like a domain, spiritual energy became useless. Snowflakes danced around him, the biting chill graze his skin. A field of ice laid in his sight, blocks of ice were all over the place. The domain was covered in a layer of icy fog, but this level of ice was of no threat to him.

The Silver Ice Crystal floated silently, the world of ice originated from it. Ye Mo was just thirty feets away from the crystal, he took vigorous and solid steps as he advanced towards the crystal. The cold qi brushed pass his skin but his steps did not falter.

Twenty-five feets... Twenty feets... Fifteen feets... Ten feets... When he entered the range of ten feets, an unexpected change happened, the temperature became biting cold, a terrifying cold qi invaded his body, his repeatedly refined internal organs jolted, he quickly used the cold qi to refine his body, a body can never reach the state of perfection, it had to undergo countless refinement and polishing.

Every step became heavy, he advanced forward with gritted teeth, the cold qi constantly polishing his body, ice started forming on his body but he continued forward, the cold qi was piercing and biting, even his soul shivered. With sheer and resolute willpower he came standing before the Silver Crystal. He now understood was sort of terrifying chill the crystal contained.

His body swayed left and right, his muscles became stuff, ice covered his legs making him rooted to the spot. Blood flowed out his lips, he shouted fiercely in his mind, "Collect." The Silver Crystal vanished.

Ye Mo collapsed, he was exhausted, his face pale as paper. He sat cross-legged and regulated his breathing cycle, the cold qi that invaded his body were used to polish and further refine his body.
