Esely Lin sat aside obediently and didn't know what to say.
After a long while, the man said slowly, "have a good rest today. You don't have to go to work."
Well
Esely Lin thought it was a good idea. She didn't go back last night, so she didn't know how anxious her baby was.
William Swiss continued, "why don't you stay here for a while so that I can take care of you. When you recover, I will pick you up to work?"
He raised his eyes and glanced at her gently. Noticing the strange expression on her face, he knew that she had misunderstood him. So he explained, "don't worry. I won't live here these days."
"Ah? Where do you live?"
"I still have a place to live in downtown."
"Okay." Esely Lin nodded. Then she shook her head and said, "no, I have to go back. I haven't been home for the whole night. I don't know how to explain it to my parents."
Hearing this, William Swiss seemed to be a little disappointed, but soon he returned to normal.
