I was startled when Di poked my shoulder. I gasped and looked at her in shock. 


"What's going on with you?" she asked, surprised. "I've been asking you what you wanted to order, for the third time. But you didn't hear me," she sat down next to me on the couch. "Are you okay, Lara?" she asked with a lower tone. 


I blinked and looked in front of me. After that day, I felt like a zombie. I was dead inside and it was slowly becoming visible from outside. 


But I couldn't let them know. Let him know. 


"I'm fine," I shook my head. "I just haven't been able to sleep well for a while," I faked a smile.


"I don't buy that," she was serious. "I would think that things weren't going well with Aiden but he's the happiest he's ever been." 


Aiden. Happy. Were things really going well? 


"I'm not hungry," I shrugged. "You can order for yourself," I got up and walked into my room without waiting for her response.
