CHAPTER FIVE

Cyrus locked the collar that had a tiny pendant on it and turned away as he and rauf walked away from the slave market delilah head was downcast now she had to leave the life of a slave for a long time.

she walked with the rest of the other slaves that Cyrus had bought through the hot desert the sun scorching so high as the sand burnt her feet she felt eyes on her and turned to notice her master looking intently at her she quickly averted her gaze focusing on the sand instead she felt weak and drained of all her strength as she walked on she could collapse any minute that would be good maybe she could die and go to be with her mother and the rest of her people

" we rest here for the night" Cyrus commanded as all his slaves began to unpack his tent for the night his eyes still on his new maid as she worked with the other slaves setting up his tent there was an oasis nearby as soon as night fell he was in his tent enjoying the touch of one his female slaves not feeling satisfied he pushed her away and took a stroll to the oasis going closer he saw a figure bathing in the water as she swayed and splashed with the water around her he smirked it was his new maid who played with the water tenderly his eyes couldn't move away from the way she washed her body slowly washing her private parts.

he coughed slightly gaining her attention startled she covered her private parts with her hand

" my Lord" delilah bowed still startled her long hair clung to her her holding her chest she eyes looked down

"it's late"

" yes I know my Lord"

" why didn't you take your bath with the rest of the slaves when the guards were watching" delilah was quiet true she had seen the guards when they were watching the slaves take their bath she didn't have an excuse still feeling uneasy she stayed quiet averting her gaze.

" not that it matters" Cyrus spoke watching delilah

" what's the name given to you"

"delilah"

"delilah" Cyrus said tasting the her name it sounded sweet like honey.

the hot sun scorching so intensely left sweat all over his body he clung tightly to the letter he had with him feeling the brute of having not slept for three days his body began to succumb to it's natural calling sleep he tested his horse at one side and flung his cloak over his head there was a nearby bar up ahead where he could cool off he headed to the bar tired he walked to the bar attendant

" two glasses of your finest wine" he went and sat on a stool close to the bar attendant and watched as the drinks were being served to him the atmosphere was giddy the feeling of women rolling on several men's bodies irked him truly he should have kept on going but his body thought otherwise he took out a cigarette from the side of his pocket and took out a lighter allowing the smoke to fill the air his eye caught sight of a woman looking flirtatiously at him he brought out his cigarette crushing it and payed the bar attendant as he left neveda had it's taste it's glory was there but not what it used to be it's morals had been drenched to the soil.

he started running to where he had tied his horse near a small pole of water there the beast lay waiting for it's master he looked towards the sky the sun was setting he would camp here for the night in the day he would be sure to leave he had to be in kingdom of jiapour before sundown tomorrow he had no time left bringing down the sheet he had strapped to his horse he rolled it out settling himself as he looked at the stars he thought of his mother and sister anger flashed briefly in his eyes and he close his eyes shutting the pang of regret he felt when he remembers the day he had left his mother and little sister along in their kingdom of Lydia he could remember it all the shouting for him to stay his sister's last words to him

" don't think you ever had a sister again" his sister had said angrily towards him the war how the tarik soldiers had killed everyone he loved leaving him with naught but he would have his vengeance only a little time more.

morning came he wiped his face with the water he had stored in a gourd he cast his eyes to the direction of camel's approaching he spotted a group of merchant's carrying goods they had with them groups of strong men

" guards" he spat he remembered his master how he drove a dagger into his belly ending him so stupid he laughed and paused as the merchant's came closer with their merchandise he stood holding a satchel it had a sword that was forged by a witch from his kingdom who used the blood of strong men.

he drank a little water from the gourd and closed it and stood up holding his beast in place.

he climbed on his horse and began to ride away he didn't care to fight people he felt the thirst to draw blood the magnetic flow of blood coursing through his veins he cleaned the sweat dropping down his body he had to get to the capital there bato would be waiting for him only a little further he would be there only the shadows of sand cast in his mind his mind far to his sister's word

" don't ever think that you had a sister" his teeth grew sharp " stupid only your words in my head how long must I endure" he was beyond angry now the only thing to quench his anger was blood nothing else only blood he waited for the merchant's from earlier they were getting closer he could feel it his fingers grew longer his eyes took the form of a snake
