[ACT. 6: Under Attack I]

It is three in the morning and Mikazuki is walking aimlessly around the city that never sleeps. The conversation that he had with Roseline earlier caused him unable to sleep and decided to calm his mind.

Mikazuki knew that Risa will really regret what she did to him five years ago and seeks forgiveness which he already forgave her a long time ago. However, he has no intention of meeting her since Risa told him years ago that they're clearly over.

He stopped and turned around in the direction of the Kagami's Estate after sensing a disturbance. He then saw an explosion, causing Mikazuki to rush towards his family. Once he arrived there, Mikazuki found a barrier that prevented him from entering.

When he was about to touch it to destroy the barrier, Mikazuki quickly leaped away just in time to avoid being hit by a staff. Not only did the staff destroy the ground, but also produced a field of electricity.

What stood before Kagami was a tall, muscular, and bald man that wore a white tank top, black pants, and a pair of Kungfu shoes. Mikazuki immediately unravelled the bandages around his right eye and read the opponent's energy to figure out who he is.

"Takahashi…"

Now he knew who's responsible for attacking his clan and he won't let that happen.

It is true that he hates his clan especially his family, but despite harbouring anger to them…

Kagami Mikazuki won't let anyone harm his clan, specifically his family.

"What a beautiful sight. To think that you will fight someone like me with that eye… It is truly an honor!!" the man screamed at Mikazuki as he swung his staff and, in a few seconds, the weapon coated with a yellow aura while blue sparks around it. "My name is Shirusha and I will be your last opponent that you will fight, kid."

"Don't be so sure, bald guy. I fought with a lot of people who said those exact words to me and now they're six feet under me." Mikazuki said before he took a fighting stance that made Shirusha narrow his dark eyes.

Demonic Wrath Dragon Fist or commonly known as Assassination Fist. A legendary fighting style that not only taught but a certain clan that wiped out during the Edo Period. Shirusha smirked and rushed at Mikazuki before swinging his staff at the young man who dashed backward. Shirusha then swung the staff at his opponent's neck as fast as lightning.

Unfortunately, Mikazuki blocked the staff by grabbing it and hurled Shirusha away. He ran at Shirusha as he thrust the staff, causing Mikazuki to slide and kicked Shirusha's leg. This made him fall to his knees as Mikazuki sent a devastating uppercut that knocked the guy into the air before Mikazuki teleported above him and sent a powerful axe kick to his head.

The kick not only inflicted a massive amount of damage to Shirusha's head but also knocked him to the ground. As Mikazuki stood over the seemingly defeated Shirusha, he went to the barrier and tried to search the weak spot to destroy it so that he could save his clan.

He stopped and turned around to see Shirusha slowly standing up and radiating sinister dark purple aura. The man's once dark eyes now became glowing red as he broke his staff into two and rubbed it until it became sharp weapons.

"Looks like you are not a weak opponent after all. Bring it on, bald head!!" Mikazuki said to Shirusha.

Meanwhile

"Dammit!! Where the hell is Mika!!"

Mizuki swiftly avoiding the enemies' blades and cut them one by one with a seven feet blade before slicing a nearby foe in half when he tried to kill a child that was cornered to the wall. Immediately, two Kagami rushed to the child and one of them brought him to safety while the other decided to help Mizuki.

"Have you tried to contact my brother?" asked Mizuki as she beheaded two enemies that're running at her.

"Mobile phones are not working because of the barrier that disturbing the network service." the man said to Mizuki before he bisected an enemy. "As for the women and children including your family, they're safe at the bunker now."

"Good. I want you to protect the bunkers with your friends."

The male Kagami widened his eyes and was about to say something when a kunai went through his throat, killing him instantly. Mizuki looked at the direction where the kunai was thrown and noticed someone that caused her blood boiling.

"Takahashi Kenshi…"

"It's good to see you, Kagami Mizuki."

Takahashi Kenshi, the head clan of Takahashi Clan. Known for his greed and arrogance as well as savage nature. Mizuki admitted that she's quite surprised to see Kenshi, but she knew that there is something that Kenshi wants which is why he and his people attacked her clan.

Kenshi has short spiky dark hair with white streaks and dark blue eyes that are filled with bloodlust. He wore a sleeveless black bodysuit, dark customized flak jacket with a red accent and his clan crest on the back, a pauldron on his left shoulder, elbow pads, knee pads, and boots. In addition, a katana with a black handle strapped to his back.

"If you think that you are here to take the Kagami's Scrolls of Techniques and Knowledges, I won't let that happen." Mizuki said as she tightened her grip around the blade. "Leave this place, Kenshi."

"Oh, I am not here for the scrolls… I am here for your brother."

Mizuki surprised to hear that and asked how he knew Mikazuki was here. Moreover, how Kenshi knew Mikazuki is alive. Kenshi scoffed and said that there is no way that the explosion that consumed her brother and Irene five years ago will kill him. He then continued by stating that if Irene survived then Mikazuki also survived.

"You better make a wise decision, Mizuki. Give me your brother and I will order my men to leave this place without harming your people." Kenshi said as he unsheathed his katana and pointed the weapon at Mizuki. A smirk appeared on his face as he continued, "How is it going to be? Save many people by sacrificing someone or let those same many people die just to save someone?"

Mizuki responded by straightening her left arm and summoned a crystallized scimitar. She then coldly said, "I will kill you and bathe your wife and son with your blood."

This made Kenshi smiled and charged at Mizuki after ordering her men to wipe out the women and children.

At the same time

"Minami, I want you to stay here. Promise me that you will stay here and do not leave the bunker."

Mikayla stared at a terrified Minami and watched her slowly nodded her head. She gave a kiss to Minami's forehead and instructed the two Kagami to guard the door to make sure no one enter the bunker unless it was her, her daughter, or her son.

She then glanced at Ammar who startled by her.

"Please protect my daughter with your own life."

"I will. Please be careful." Ammar said to Mikayla who smiled.

"I am happy that my son has a good friend like you."

Mikayla then grabbed a katana that had been placed on the wall of the bunker and glanced at the women and children, assuring them that they would be fine.

'Mirza… Give me strength….'

With a silent pray and the thought of her late husband, Mikayla left the bunker and watched the remaining of Kagami that guarded the bunker heavily killed by the enemies. She unsheathed the katana which made the weapon produce an unstable dark blue aura.

"There will be no escape."

Mikayla tossed the scabbard away and narrowed her eyes at the enemies that surrounded her. She estimated the enemies were at least 40 and held the weapon with two hands.

"There will be no mercy."

With those five words, Mikayla rushed at the enemies and killed them one by one with ease. She sliced off the opponent's legs before beheaded him and kicked his head to the enemy in front of her. Then, Mikayla swung her weapon which released an energy wave that took the form of a crescent moon at three enemies next to her. The energy wave not only bisected them but also burnt the lower part of the body into ashes.

Backflipping twice to avoid countless shuriken and kunai, Mikayla stabbed her katana to the ground and immediately a powerful energy wave knocked the enemies before her. She then sensed someone had tried to attack her from behind her and jumped into the air before blocked incoming sword that aimed towards her neck.

"Secret Kagami Technique: Moon Goddess' Retribution."

Swinging her blade upward, Mikayla created a small hole in space that attracted the enemy before her. He screamed in agony as his entire body was sucked into a vortex and crushed. Mikayla was then forced to block several blades all at once before an enemy managed to kick her to the ground.

Standing up, Mikayla then blocked more and more attacks until she overwhelmed and received a slash to her back that made her screamed in pain. Mikayla fell to her knee, hissing in pain before rolling away just in time.

"I won't let any of you harm the women and children. If you want them, step over my dead body." Mikayla said as she stood up.

"Don't worry, I will step over your body before kill them." said someone to Mikayla who widened her eyes before she was stabbed from behind.

Outside the barrier

Mikazuki who had been brutally beat Shirusha knocked him away with a powerful blow. He was about to continue his assault when suddenly he tensed up.

'!!'

Mikazuki sensed something terrible had happened to his mother and gritted his teeth. This enraged him completely as he screamed in anger and dashed towards Shirusha who gave up. He then savagely beat him until the man's face covered by his blood before punched through his chest, killing him.

The young man with divine eye then went to the barrier and placed his hands on it. Taking a deep breath, he destroyed the barrier by crushing it and rushed to his mother.

"Hang on, I'm coming!!"
